I just discovered that I’ve eaten at a Tacombi restaurant before, one in Flatiron and another in Brooklyn. Now I’m adding the Long Island Westbury location to the list. I will say, one thing that has stayed consistent is the wonderful service. I’ve been to the Westbury location twice already and have always had a pleasant experience.

The food is solid and is definitely worth adding to your Taco Tuesday list. So far, I’ve had the tacos and a Birria Burrito. The Burrito is massive and super filling. The tacos are reasonable and you’re good with just three if you’re regular hungry. The ambiance gives street taco stand, which is the point, but it’s super cozy and chill. My kind of vibe. Nothing bad to say honestly. Will continue going.

Slow kitchen, awful service, bland food, but high-tier aesthetics and PLENTY of parking space.

Crispy Fish and Al Pastor tacos were bland and soggy, Chicken Quesadilla had a nice texture but was unfortunately also bland. The only parts of my order that had any redeeming quality were the Corn Esquite and the Piña Agua Fresca, and even the corn tasted like it had been sitting around for a while.

And speaking of sitting around for a while, I was sat at a table and PROMPTLY FORGOTTEN FOR HALF AN HOUR
I had to order through Uber Eats while I was sitting in the restaurant while the waitstaff were seemingly ignoring me.

One star added because the food and the decor look fantastic, but looks aren’t everything I guess.

Solid experience at this taco spot in westbury New York. Guac was great, indoor/outdoor sort of aesthetic was ok. Birria was the star of the show photos won’t do it justice but it was delicious. They also has fresh juices and cocktails and prices were quite reasonable.

I was really excited to try Tacombi in Westbury because the pictures online looked amazing — but honestly, the food did not live up to the hype. I tried the Sinaloa Shrimp Taco (1/10), Black Bean & Sweet Potato Taco (1/10), and the Beef Ribeye Taco (3/10). The presentation looked great, but everything seriously lacked flavor besides the ribeye taco, which was just okay.

At around $8 per taco, I expected much better quality and larger portions. The food was bland, not satisfying, and definitely not worth the price. For the same cost, Tocola Cantina down the block is way better in both taste and value.

The only positives were that the place looks nice and the staff was friendly, but good vibes and décor can’t make up for disappointing food.

Always go on a Taco Tuesday!!
Taco Tuesday they have buy 1 get 1 Tacos, any kind and you can mix and match. Prices are steep if you go on a regular day. But on Taco Tuesdays, it’s worth it as you basically get 50% off. Now if you come before 7pm, they also have Happy Hour where drinks are cheaper. Id recommend going here on a Tuesday before 7pm, order all your drinks beforehand and enjoy! Our server Nelson is awesome!! They have outdoor seating during the warmer months. Lots of free parking as well.

Definitely worth it on Taco Tuesdays!!!

The words are taken out of me… the experience I had on my Saturday night was LOVELY!!!! Let’s start at the way that this place looks, it’s a chef’s kiss! As someone in real estate, I can appreciate good service and a welcoming atmosphere; it was just HEAVENLY!! I felt so comfortable sitting at the bar.. by myself and ate while having the best experience and friendly attitude of RAMSEY!!!!!! I can’t wait to bring my family back here really soon ‍

I’ve always wanted to come and try the tacos, and today was the day! Ramsey took care of us and was an excellent server—he spoke our language (Spanish) and gave us great recommendations. I absolutely loved the carne asada tacos. I’ll be back soon with the rest of my family. Highly recommended! ✨

Awful quality of food, overpriced and poor value for the money spent. Paid $15 for a large nachos out of a bag that probably cost them $1 with guac that was mashed avocado with little to no other ingredients. The most expensive Burrito on the menu that I paid was $17 served with very little strips of “ribeye” beef, fries, bean paste and sauce! See the pic. I didn’t eat the half after I opened it. One ribeye taco was $9! Ridiculous! Spent $130 and we ate like crap! The tip percentage was calculated after tax – should be pre-tax!
The servers were nice gave me a free fish taco to make up, not good either! The ambience was OK, but will not come back! Will never recommend!

Overall, the money spent was not worth the quality of food. We’d rather spend my money and time elsewhere!

I have passed by this place so many times, and today I finally decided it was time to try it. The food was actually really good. Fish tacos were amazing. Barbacoa tacos delicious , spicy pablano margarita the same. If asked if you want to start with guacamole and chips, say yes. Its a great starting point till you get your main dishes. Everything was sooo delicious. Thanks to the server and MNG for a great experience. Can’t wait to come back.

A Quick Trip to Mexico at This Hidden Taco Gem!
Stepping into this hidden taco spot, I instantly felt transported. The vibe and ambiance hit you right away – it’s the kind of place that screams authenticity even before you’ve taken a bite, making you just know the food is going to be incredible. It felt like a quick escape from the US, a mini-vacation for my taste buds!
My sister and I were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The staff were fantastic, eager to help and quick to share some of the menu’s highlights. Their enthusiasm was contagious and set the tone for a truly enjoyable meal.
We kicked things off with chips and guacamole, and it was the perfect start – fresh, flavorful, and a great prelude to the main event. For our tacos, we dove into a variety, and each one was a masterpiece. They were incredibly authentic, juicy, and packed with flavor, a testament to genuine Mexican cooking.
Everything we ordered was delicious, served hot and quick, and the excellent customer service rounded out an already fantastic experience. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. If you’re looking for an authentic taco experience that makes you feel like you’ve left the country for a quick, delicious meal, you’ve found your spot!
