Decided to try this place because of the high number of reviews on Google. You will need to wait to get in, roughly 30 minutes. The food wasn’t what I expected. The meats are pretty dry and not much taste in it. You will have to put hot sauce to complement it. Drinks wise, nothing special. You will not regret it if you pick other place to eat.

Atmosphere is adorable, comfortable, and spacious. The server was very attentive and helpful for recommendations. However, the food wasn’t that great; mediocre. Tea was watery. Great place to hang out, though.

The food was very delicious, specially the tacos. I loved the too with scallop, you don’t get it anywhere else. The reason I am give 4 star is cuz we didn’t have a good service. We waited about 10 minutes before anyone come to serve us, after dishes came, se are missing one order of taco, I waited about 10min again. Server never came by, so I had to go look for him all around the restaurant. Anyway, I still recommend their taco.

This place is consistently amazing. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the tequila selection is amazing, and the food is delicious. There’s usually valet, so parking not an issue and the ambiance is fun and casual. It’s in an old building that has tons of character, but the bar and outdoor options are my favorite. If your at the beach TacoLu is a must!

Really great tacos and margaritas! Happy hour runs 2-7 most days but check the website to be sure. Ben, our server, was courteous, informative, and there whenever we needed anything. The TacoLu margarita is fantastic, fresh and very tasty! The salsa and chips at arrival are very tasty, too. Our party had the Banging Shrimp taco, a $10 taco, the Carnitas taco, and the Enchiladas Rosa – Superb! The queso fundido with chorizo was good, but thicker and cheesier than we expected; not a bad thing. Mexican street corn should not be missed! Overall, very positive experience! Valet parking is available and worth it when they’re busy. Definitely will be back! Sorry we didn’t post more photos as we dived right in – ha!

Worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been too. We sat down and the server talked as if he didn’t really know the menu and told us they had a bar and coke products. I asked if they had Fanta and he said no. Asked if they had strawberry daiquiris or pina coladas, no. Asked for a cherry coke and he said they didn’t have that. Asked if he could just put grenadine in the coke, he said he can’t do that. I ordered my food and we got it within 5 minutes, it was cold and obviously made awhile ago since the melted cheese was hard and the bread was soggy and stale. I didn’t even eat half of it, it was very bland and gross. I gave the place the benefit of the doubt and ordered churros for desert thinking maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. And the churros were also cold, and plain fried bread with a watered down runny chocolate sauce that tasted like straight coco powder. Not to mention the limited spaces and half of the parking spots are blocked off with cones so you have to use valet and have someone park your car into the parking lot instead of just doing it yourself. Don’t go here. It’s gross. And there’s a burrito place that’s a lot better quality service, and better quality food. And you can park there yourself without having to tip people to do it. Taco Bell has better food then this restaurant.

A restaurant so good it makes me not want to return back home. (I’m from Oklahoma.) I personally had the Carne Asada, Black & Blue, and Pork Verde. The Carne Asade meat was the best meat I have ever had, but gosh dis that Black & Blue just pair together so well.

Our food and waitress was awesome. I forgot her name(maybe start with a K) but she recommended bangin shrimp and The $10 taco. Our absolute favorite dessert was the sopapillas!! Wish we lived closer cause I would definitely make TacoLu my favorite taco spot to eat at on a regular.

This is the first restaurant I take visitors of Jacksonville to. It’s the greatest restaurant in Jacksonville. I couldn’t stop eating to take a picture of the actual tacos. $10 taco (it’s $5) and Bangin Shrimp and queso for the nachos is the actual perfect order. You’ll be the happiest customer on the planet and the food has always come out lightning fast. Consistently amazing.

Food was good, I hadn’t been here for several years, but pretty much everything was the same, except for the rice. It was slightly wetter than it used to be. The server was very nice, but also pretty slow. We had to ask for our bill well after we finished our meal, as did the table next to us. But overall good food and atmosphere!
