This was my second time visiting Tacolina, and it was even better than I remembered. I came with my family and my autistic daughter after a long event, and she was feeling very overstimulated. I asked our server if we could switch to the little green house for a quieter space, and they immediately accommodated us with so much kindness.
The entire staff was incredibly attentive. Our food came out quickly, everything was delicious, and they even surprised us with complimentary dessert. Ted, the manager, personally checked in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our meal.
What meant the most to us was how welcomed we felt. At many restaurants, we often sense that people want us in and out quickly because of my daughter’s needs. Tacolina was the complete opposite, they made us feel cared for, respected, and never rushed. That level of compassion is rare, and it truly surpassed our expectations.
We left feeling grateful and seen. Tacolina has definitely earned a loyal family in us.

Loved the vibe here and the drinks were spot on! You definitely can’t go wrong with the tacos—they were the highlight of the meal. However, the rest of the food was unfortunately lacking flavor. The biggest downside was the service; it was pretty terrible and inconsistent throughout the night. Great for a drink and a quick snack, but don’t expect a seamless dining experience.

Lovely atmosphere, day or night. We had the fish taco and mushroom taco as a bowl, both dishes were good, not the largest portions. They had nice amount vegan options! Service was really friendly! Will def be back, specially good spot for photos!

Came here by accident after failing to find parking for a Silverlake restaurant that we were originally supposed to go. What a pleasant surprise and fun decor when walking in. Bathrooms is respectfully coed and very private. Staff was pleasant and friendly. They don’t have free chips but recommend that you buy it to get the salsa flight variety. Each are packed with flavor and not watery. Surprisingly I enjoyed vegan taco even though im such a meat head. But also good were the appetizer shrimp aquachile, elite off the cob and ahi tostada, which were both Pretty tasty. This is such a cute date spot if I was on the market but id be back to enjoy with friends too. Do make a reservation because it gets packed and its a little pricey given the upper scale decor.

Tacolina in Silver Lake is a vibe. The food was excellent—every taco we tried was flavorful and unique, clearly crafted with quality ingredients and attention to detail. The atmosphere and service matched the food—laid-back, friendly, and well-executed.
This had been one of the top places on my list for a while, and I’m very happy I finally made it out—it definitely didn’t disappoint.
That said, while I genuinely enjoyed the experience, paying $16–$18 for just two tacos felt a bit steep. I get that quality and location play a role, but it still gave me pause.
Definitely a must-try if you’re in the area and want a great experience.

Street parking can get tough. The place is very nice and the outdoor feel is awesome. Reservations made for Thursday night. The food was hot and delicious. The drinks were good. Margarita pitcher. The tortillas were so good. A bit pricey.

The place is beautiful. The service was great. The food was good. A little on the expensive side. We liked the atmosphere. Only small thing, and I mean small… charging $3 for a tiny tub of hot sauce? In a Mexican joint? That’s weird to say the least and felt very strange. The tables should have salsa hot and not hot free of charge. That’s the Mexican way. Otherwise we had a good time.
