Solid tacos in a lively, energetic space with super friendly staff! I visited Tacolicious for a quick late lunch, and their tacos perfectly hit the spot after a long morning / afternoon running around doing errands. I was there during an off hour (~3:30 PM), but there were still a good number of people around, so I can only imagine how crowded it gets during the peak meal times. The complimentary chips and salsa were lovely and a great into to the main courses; I got two of their fish tacos, which were quite tasty. The fish was well-fried with a nice crispy exterior, and it has a good crunch and pop of freshness from the cabbage, creaminess from the crema. The taco was quite flavorful on its own, but they also serve every taco with a spread of three salsas and extra pickled onions. The salsas are all very tasty and range from not spicy at all to extremely spicy, and they each elevate the tacos in their own way. Can’t wait to come back!

If you find yourself in San Francisc, you absolutely must stop by Tacolicious. We stumbled upon this place while traveling for work, knowing absolutely nothing about it, and we left completely “in awe.”

We opted to sit at the bar, which turned out to be the best seat. He was phenomenal! Not only was he attentive, but he was incredibly informative regarding the menu. He walked us through the cocktail list and gave us the inside scoop on the food, making our experience feel personalized and top-tier.

The food was the biggest surprise of all. You might think you know what to expect from a taco spot, but the flavors here are on another level. It truly feels like a five-star dining experience in a cool, approachable atmosphere.

With a name like tacolicous I wasnt expecting much tbh but I happened by during happy hour and tried some tacos, first of all it was a great deal, 2 huge tacos for 8 bucks and I couldn’t even finish it there was that much food, it was pretty good too nothing special but good none the less, the way the food came out was nice and aesthetic and also got the chips and salsa free which was a nice touch and on top of that the service was great everyone was super welcoming and nice! I’ll definitely stop by again to try some more tacos!

Went to this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. Not busy at all and had drinks and ordered chips and queso. The service was really terrible – Our server took our order, clocked out, never checked in and left the restaurant. Took over 30 minutes to get a check. Wouldn’t recommend!

Even though I truly miss the Tacolicious/Todo El Dia on 24th. St. This location offers similar fare. The tacos are the same but served with out a salad. The chips were warm and the spicy salsa was delicious. The tortillas and their salsa tray made the tacos really pop. The proteins are all delicious, especially the cola infused carnitas. If you find yourself strolling down Valencia St. or after a show at the Chapel stop in for a couple of tacos you will be glad you did.

Loved our dinner at Tacolicious!
Tacos were fresh and flavorful (especially the carnitas and fish taco). Friendly staff, great vibe — definitely a place to check out if you’re craving Mexican food in San Francisco!

I’m pushing towards five stars because I think they deserve it I went in during happy hour and had two little crispy tacos with chicken that were actually really good.
The chips and salsa that they give you to start…is perfect… The chips feel fresh and the salsa is that really good kind… Check out the picture.
I didn’t get any drinks with alcohol but they looked good as they passed by.
The OJ and lemon soda was yummy. The environment is comfortable. Forget about parking, play the car far away and walk. The street of Valencia is slowly decomposing… It’s unfortunate but hopefully it can survive.

Solid, well-rounded menu of gringo-centric tacos and Mexican fare. The Baja fish was surprisingly yummy, but the real standout was the insouciance of the service. Thank you, Fortune!

Food was good, we had the lunch special (2 tacos and a soup or salad, for $17, no drink). I had the chicken or egg soup, shrimp taco, and Coca-Cola braised carnitas. Wife had the Marina salad, fish taco, and shot-and-a-beer braised chicken. We’re also had the chile con queso and churritos.

Quality was top notch. The soup was great, the salad even better the shrimp was small like Gulf shrimp, but that was great for a taco, big shrimp don’t always work in a taco. The Coca-Cola carnitas was good but needed something, couldn’t put my finger on it.

Fish was fresh and tasty, and the chicken was fine. For the queso, it was good, but more of the chile would have brought it to another level.

The churritos were over-cooked a bit and the oil probably wasn’t hot enough, they came out a little oily/greasy. Caramel sauce slightly over done.

Will definitely come back and see if the small wiggles we had were one-offs. Chill atmosphere, good to great food, excellent service.

Service was outstanding, Nico wasn’t at the table too much or too little, just right.

Great atmosphere. They have some outdoor seating. They have a great space in the back for big parties. The food was great. They had specials for the loteria game night, which was nice. 3 Al pastor tacos for $10. They kept the chips coming. Thank you.
