Taco Cat Cantina is mostly a modest store front for takeout, although during good weather they’ve got a nice outdoor seating area available as well.

We loved this place, such unique and tasty Mexican food and great portion size. When we went here, we were super hungry and ordered the smothered burrito, one taco and one enchilada (with stewed garbanzo beans and braised purple cabbage), quesadilla crunchwrap and rice bowl with beans. The braised purple cabbage was so good, we were told that the restaurant had run out of it but when we requested they ensured that we got one taco with the cabbage. Do try the sauces that they have, all three of them are super spicy! Parking is available behind the building. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant!

Better without the Rice-a-Roni
We sought out this little hideaway Mexican joint still craving food we didn’t make ourselves. Our thrill that margaritas were being served take-out (straw-less for “safety reasons”) balanced our disappointment that dine-in was not available.. No worries, the train station across the way offered ample seating in the sunshine.
The blue corn tortillas in the enchiladas were flavorful, as was the canned-tomato salsa. The meats inside were well-made. Alas, everything was mixed in with this parboiled instant rice-a-roni which was impossible to avoid. Note: Mexicans actually don’t eat rice, unless they live in California, and it is always on the side. Not, for example, INSIDE the enchilada. The rice bowl was just asking for more of the same.
Still, the town of Randolph was charming and we did not regret our adventure. Would we be back? Yes, if you could skip the rice-a-roni.

I can only review after going here twice, but was very pleased to find that, pretty much, their entire menu is vegetarian with the option of adding meat. I’ve had their taco salad and rice bowl and both of them were very good! The ingredients were fresh and there was lots of natural flavor. I ordered the large of each and found the taco salad to be a good sized portion and the rice bowl slightly smaller. I think the prices are fair and reflect the quality of the ingredients. I would like to see a little less lettuce and maybe things like avocados being included (but I do know they can be expensive). Overall, very pleased with this place, the friendliness of the staff and the great selection!!! Definitely going back!

Got the West Style barbacoa burrito, I’m not sure if it was an off night or what happened but I couldn’t taste anything in the burrito. The only discernible flavor was from the onions and the hot sauce I put on myself. The burrito was impressive and size and my partners dish looked great.

Service was ok. Food was ready right when they said it would be. Barely any meat in any of the 3 taco salads we got, the “smoked” chicken was horrid tasting whoever did the smoking is extremely inexperienced at it. Spent over 50$ for no meat in the taco salads and the worst smoked chicken on a 3pack of tacos I’ve ever experienced. Will not ever be spending money here again. Which sucks because we are local and there isn’t a whole lot of options.

Was in your establishment yesterday for dinner May 14, 2023. I must say I’m throughly disappointed in the service we received, the hour and ten minute wait time for our meal. The way the meal was served all at once with appetizers which should have come first before main course. Upon receiving our food we requested salad dressing only to find out there was an additional one dollar fee for dressing as well as sour cream. No mention of a fees at time of order!
I have to say the food was exceedingly bland! Ordered chicken burritos and we are still looking for the chicken!

Not only is the customer service a wonderful experience, the food is phenomenal! I have ordered take-out more than a few times and every experience has exceeded my expectations. The price is more than reasonable considering they support local farms and offer all locally sourced ingredients! The prices matched the taste, low. Sadly there were no flavors in our tacos, enchiladas, or rice. I’m sure it’s a hit for a small town.

Totally agree with a previous review about the rice wrapped “into” every dish. California puts rice in their burritos but they are known for being enormously stuffed. I had the pork belly enchiladas. 75% rice, 25% pork. No cheese inside. Hmmm, this is what an enchilada is, cheese in corn tortillas. The sauce was smoky, a bit runny, and lacked depth of flavor. My husband had the crunchy quesadilla. Filled with tortilla chips, lots of rice, black beans and little pork. Maybe the straight tacos would have been a better choice. 2 soda, 2 lunches, $32. I would give them 3.5 stars. I would rather pay a little more to not have the rice be the main ingredient.
