Don’t be fooled by the location of “the Spot”. We were in Gardiner during a busy holiday weekend in winter. This was one of the few places that were open and had availability for our group and it ended up being one of the best places that we ate! Not only was the food great, the service was as well.

Good Mexican food and espresso(weird combo, but the caramel macchiato I had was one of the best I’ve had on my trip). Fairly priced, and convenient location. Definitely a good place to eat in Gardiner, or if you want some actual good food before you’re stuck with whatever the tourist trap restaurants have to offer inside the park.
I tried the carnitas and the goat cheese pizza. Both were great.
They also have Jarritos and Mexican Coke, which is a huge plus for me!

Michael was so friendly and accommodating!! The Spot by Tacocat is easily one of our favorite places to eat in Gardiner. We loved the homemade sauces!

I got three tacos and my wife got the rice bowl. I thought I was being punked with how small the tacos were. $7 for three bites of a taco is absolutely diabolical. The rice bowl was good and the portions were decent. Really just upset about how small the tacos are for the price. Seriously a comically small taco. I wouldn’t go back here
