Tried this taco spot for the first time and the food was good. The tacos come standard with some non traditional stuff, so check that out when ordering. I’m a fan of taqueria style onion and cilantro only tacos, so I would say these would be more of a Tex-Mex with Colby jack looking cheese, lettuce, pico and some kind of cream. So my taste is probably not their target audience so I want to focus on the other aspects.
My first plate had a long black hair in the taco from the cook. That process of getting my meal redone was easy, but your cook has long hair and it’s just under a hat with no hair net.. before noticing the hair I had noticed the partially filled tacos initially and was disappointed. For $3.25 or 3.99 for the steak, the tacos should have some actual meat in them. The steak taco we purchased on the side had the corn tortilla heated up a bit, but the soft
corn tacos on the tray were not warmed up. Having a cold tortilla, cold toppings, and very little warm meat made the tacos cool off quickly.
I did also get a crunchy chicken fajita taco and that was very good. My husband also got one on his tray and both were filled up with chicken. This is what I would come back to eat a plate of! They have a lunch special for 10.99 with 3 tacos and rice and beans. With the Bay Area Food Lovers Discount it makes them around $9:34 for a plate.

This place is sooo good. The birria tacos are amazing, the horchata is the best I’ve ever had, and the owner is so friendly. They even carry the famous Dubai chocolate strawberries . Oh and the street corn! So good! After my first visit, I couldn’t wait to come back—I’ve already brought several friends and family because I knew they’d love it too. Honestly, everything here is delicious!

Ordered horchata, guacamole, one chicken, and one beef taco on corn tortillas. Horchata was delicious!! Sampled strawberry watermelon juice, which was good also. Tacos were good but could’ve been more seasoned. Salsa wasn’t given with tacos. Chips were okay. Customer service was awesome. Cool decor.

On my first visit to Taco Works, I was impressed by how clean the restaurant was and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was good and served promptly, which I appreciated. I also decided to try the viral Dubai strawberries, but unfortunately, they fell a bit short of expectations. The kataifi pastry wasn’t as crisp as I had hoped and was slightly soggy, while the strawberries themselves tasted like they had been sitting for a while. The strawberry pieces were also quite large and unevenly cut. For a dessert priced at $9.50, I think there’s definitely room for improvement. Still, it was nice to see such a trendy dessert offered on the menu. Definitely worth the stop

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — friendly staff, clean and lively space, and the smell of freshly prepared food hit me right away. I ordered the steak burrito, steak tacos and kids steak tacos there was complementary chips and salsa, and everything was top-tier. The tacos and burritos were perfectly seasoned, juicy. The chips were crisp and the salsa tasted like it was made in-house , vibrant, balanced, and full of flavor.
What really stood out was the service: attentive, genuine, and proudly passionate about their food. I never felt rushed, and I enjoyed chatting with the team about their menu and recommendations.
