The Baja Bowl is super yummy, with each flavor and texture working well together. Good guac and chipotle dressing. Sweet pork is so tasty. Taco is scrumptious. Overall, enjoyed the fresh food and flavors.

Finally made it over to Taco Wako. It was a spur of the moment decision and paid off tremendously. I ordered the Ranchero Chicken Burrito that is the Friday special. My wife got the Waco Style Quesadilla. The chicken burrito was good I have zero complaints about it. I enjoyed every bite of it. If I were to order it again, I would probably not get the cabbage in it. But I’m just not a cabbage or lettuce fan inside of a burrito. But as always with a new place, I opted to try their default menu item before I start customizing it to my taste. The Quesadilla on the other hand was epic. It is worth it for you to go here just for the Quesadilla. We will be back for the Quesadilla. And I’m looking forward to trying some of the other menu items. The Waco Style Quesadilla has cheese on the outside and the inside. And is just fantastic. I will keep gushing over it because it is that good. So unless you’re lactose intolerant, no belay that. Even if you’re lactose intolerant, take your little pill and go get the Quesadilla Waco Style. It is worth it and will change your life and your point of view on lactose-oriented products.
Parking is easy but getting into the parking lot can be a little complicated, you either have to turn in by the bank or well that’s really the only choice. Turn in at the bank, and go up to Taco Wako. They do serve Pepsi products so they aren’t perfect. But they do provide other options like Dole Whip and Jarritos so you can drink something that is just not as awful as Pepsi.

I went here today for lunch and I was a little bit disappointed. I was looking at the menu and decided to get a couple of tacos.
I ordered the tacos and they tasted OK but I was kind of disappointed in some of the ingredients.
They rolled up in aluminum foil, which was not too appealing, I talked the price was way too high for two tacos. I asked for a large glass of water instead of the drink and I got a little tiny cup of water

We’ve been waiting for this place to open since I saw it on Instagram a few weeks back. We finally had a chance to stop by today since they’ve extended their hours.
Restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. It was a bit busy, as they’ve just opened, but tables were promptly cleaned as people had finished up eating.
The service was awesome. The line in front of us moved quick and the employees were helpful explaining the different options for each meal.
Portions were great, and the flavor was top notch. I had the sweet pork quesadilla with the Wako Style baked cheese tortilla. Sweet pork was cooked perfectly. The rice was incredible, as were the beans. The kids each had a quesadilla with no meat and they loved them. They also had Dole Whip pineapple ice cream for dessert that was shared between the two of them. It was their first time trying it and they thought it was the best thing since Roblox.

We will be back!!!

I’m leaving an honest review not to be critical, but to give constructive feedback so the business can hopefully take into consideration things that will help them.

The food was very underwhelming and not seasoned well. Very plain meat, rice, and beans. I had the “Wako style” tacos that added cheese to the tortillas – that was good, but not worth a $2 upgrade. The use of cabbage instead of lettuce or a onion/cilantro mix was interesting for tacos (I didn’t like it). I’m pretty sure most of the ingredients and sides were not homemade, as the beans tasted like canned beans, the rice tasted like and had the texture of Uncle Ben’s microwaved rice, and the tortillas seemed like run of the mill store bought ones. Overall, this was not a great Mexican or Tex Mex experience.

I will say the customer service was great – the employees were very friendly. And the store was super clean. I really hope this business can thrive and do well, I’m a huge supporter of local businesses. There’s just some improvements to be made for me to be a regular here.

We were hoping for a good taco joint. Rusty Taco is 10x better on 2700 in Pleasant View. First off the service was solid that’s the reason for the 2 stars, without them I’d go 0 stars. The food was super bland, similar to cafeteria food. I suggest the owner go try Rusty Taco and see for themselves what a Taco should be. Disappointed and will never return. Also there is like 4 small tables… Your food is far from good.

We were excited to try this place, but sadly, we probably won’t be returning. Food was bland, portions were small, and they REALLY skimp on the protein….omitted completely in the chicken quesadilla we ordered. Kids’ meals are an appropriate size for a toddler. Any child bigger is likely to still be hungry. Food service packets of hot sauce offered a bit of extra flavor but sealed the deal in this being less than authentic Mexican food. Paying over $20 for a child meal and adult entree only is a bit steep. Stars given only for freshness of the food received.

Been looking forward to trying it out! Stopped in for dinner and ordered two sweet pork tacos “Wako” style. Wouldn’t recommend it. They take a soft flour shell and sprinkle cheese on it and toast it on the grill. The cheese added no flavor and was too done for me. The sweet pork tasted more like barbecue pork than a Mexican pork. My husband ordered the Thursday special which was a sweet pork burrito. It was better than the tacos but wouldn’t order it again. We also ordered chips and salsa which looked and tasted like fresh pico, pace picante and restaurant packets of hot taco sauce mixed in. They only have Pepsi products which we would have passed on, but the Thursday special came with a drink. I think the cup was an 8 oz. very small and the water cup was even smaller. It also seemed like everything had an up charge. If you wanted rice on your burrito or have it smothered. They did have cabbage, but it was purple cabbage or lettuce. No green cabbage. It seemed odd and the portions were small. Pretty sure it won’t be around for long.

The burrito was not great. There was not much meat in my sweet pork burrito. It was mostly full of cabbage. It had a little bit of rice, but it was not filling at all. It was highly disappointing. They stuffed an already small burrito with cabbage to make the portion look bigger than it was. Customer service was ok.

This place is AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend the wako tacos… the tortillas are grilled with cheese on the outside! In 2 days I’ve tried the chicken and sweet pork tacos, n just sent hubby to get dinner with a regular pork taco plate (rice n beans).
Best place for tacos by FAR in Weber County!
