When walking up to the restaurant there is a sign that says “Warning! May cause a taco obsession, find out why today!” EXTREMELY MISLEADING. I cannot believe I came here when I was craving some good tacos. Find your way over to Federal Blvd. before coming here. The presentation of the tacos was pretty good but deceiving. Birria taco tasted sweet like cinnamon/brown sugar and overall all of the tacos and salsa needed a LOT more salt. My tacos came out cold (assuming there wasn’t a heating lamp). Cold, salt less tacos are not what I came here for. Adding some lime did little to nothing at all The crema was good and same with the pickled onions. I ordered a Paloma and it tasted like water with a hint of tequila and a couple drops of grapefruit. My partner ordered the Spicy Mezcalrita and it was also pretty flavorless but definitely spicy. The service was good and food came out in a timely manner but that’s certainly not enough for me to come back, let alone recommend.

Some super flavorful and juicy birria meat! Loved the birria tacos accompanied by the consome, rice and beans The fish taco and green Chile tacos were also delicious! Great salsas overall and guacamole w/chips good portions too.
Very clean, bright, casual indoor dining area. Good place for family meals.

Brought my family from out of town here for a quick lunch after finding it via Instagram influencer and was a bit skeptical when we walked in. However, Taco Uprising delivered and was VERY good!
Highly recommend the margarita flight, all of the flavors were really good. The green juice one was super refreshing.
One of the best birria tacos I’ve had. The green chili chicken was really tasty, especially in the quesadilla.
The fried chicken taco was the only one I could take or leave. It was good, but didn’t “wow” me like the others.
The service was awesome, we needed some help with my dad’s medical device and the staff went out of their way to make sure we got set up how we needed.
Didn’t love the del serve order kiosk, but it worked out just fine. The place is no frills but it doesn’t need to be. All that matters is how good the food is, definitely check it out if you’re craving tacos or quesadilla.

The tacos were great! The plantains were fantastic. And I will be comparing every espresso martini to the Mexpresso from now on. The birria and señor potato were the winners for tacos. Kind of a small spot so if you have a large party you might have to wait for seating but paties of 2-4 had no wait

This place has high quality food. The cod taco is my favorite fish taco in Denver, I dream about it. My wife had the birria and it was impressive. We are fanatics of Mexican cuisine. I just got back from Mexico City and this is really on par, honestly.
Try the plantains! Also the flour tortillas are amazing great job

Absolutely thrilled to share my experience at Taco Up Rising! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was just infectious – fresh and fun interior that immediately make you feel right at home and a warmth that extends beyond just the decor. The staff? Phenomenal! They were not just friendly but genuinely great at making sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of.
Now, let’s taco ‘bout the food because it deserves its own spotlight. Every bite was a little piece of heaven, packed with flavors that dance on your taste buds in the most delightful way. It’s clear they use fresh ingredients, and the love put into preparing each dish shines through. Whether you’re a taco aficionado or just looking for a tasty bite, this place will not disappoint.
Taco Up Rising isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a pleasure of an experience – one that’s filled with joy, amazing service, and of course, mouth-wateringly delicious TACOS Can’t recommend it enough. If you haven’t been, you’re seriously missing out!

Some of the best tacos in the Five Points/RiNo area—hands down. The flavors are on point, the vibe is chill, and the owners are super cool, down-to-earth people who genuinely care about the food and the community. If you’re looking to support one of the top local spots in the neighborhood, this is it. Thanks, from Jeremy, Amazing Adventures next door.

Taco Uprising is doing it right. Sure, Denver has a lot of taco spots but few nail the apps, cocktails and tacos. The menu is enticing, the ordering flexible and every bite kept me wanting more. They just might have the best guac and salsa roja in Denver. If they decide to bottle the salsa, I would be first to buy it. Definitely a repeat visit spot.
