Taco Twist felt like it was still settling in. The fountain drink machine wasn’t working which limited drive selection and cost.
We were pretty much the only ones inside so service was quick.
We will totally be back. Very tasty meal!
The chicken and pork tacos were excellent.. and meaty. I couldn’t close mine because of the the meat and veggies. The chips and salsa were less than impressive. Also, desserts were not available yet.
Overall, I would return for the tacos, but I can do without the chips and salsa. I’ve had better salsa from Aldi.
Also, the service was very good and the waitress was attentive and friendly. I failed to catch her name.
Might I add they have Excellent Prices and good quantity I’m stuffed ! my friend and I came 20 minutes before close and the wait time was reasonable and the flavor of the food we ordered is amazing with there friend Korean chicken taco and the regular chicken taco and we are regulars at are other taco joint but this for sure is one of our new local favorites I almost never finish my chips and salsa and my friend and I devoured the whole thing and the salsa I’m very pleased we will for sure be back! 🙂
I have to say I was very excited about this fusion. I love both good Mexican food and Korean.
I was given my beer and it was excellent, I was also given complimentary chips and salsa. The chips and salsa both tasted like they came directly from a package. My meal was soon served (I ordered the Korean style pork burrito) all I can say is the flavors were not awful. There was a strange flavor with the meat, it was very sweet and it didn’t have any other flavor to balance it.
As I was enjoying my beer the server offered me some hot sauce, which I thankfully accepted. She came back to the table with a sauce that looked like it might have some good flavor and perhaps heat. Unfortunately the sauce had very little flavor and no heat. In fact the little flavor the sauce had, reminded me of dish soap.
The burrito was served with guac, sour cream, and pico. The guac looked like it came out of a tube and had no texture it also had little flavor. The sour cream look watered down, and the pico did not look fresh. The Beer was amazing.
The overall food portion was a good size, however the flavor didn’t inspire me to want more.
The server was very friendly and not to difficult to understand (she had a bit of an accent). The dining room was relevantly empty and clean, and the beer was great.
Overall I would only come back for the free beer and friendly staff. As I mentioned before I was excited about this place, I guess I will need to keep searching for good Asian/Mex fusion in Orlando.
