I ordered two items. A bean and cheese burrito and chips and guacamole. The bean burrito was not hot, the shredded cheese slightly congealed in places but otherwise completely intact (see picture) but definitely not melted as it should be if it were placed on beans that were up to temperature. And the guacamole was brown throughout.
Overall I am more often dissatisfied with this specific location than I am satisfied (my kids love taco time so I treat them a few times a year) but that’s from forgetting napkins, a fork, or hot sauce kind of thing.. but this is just gross.

I come here pretty often and the staff is always friendly and efficient, the greats after 8 menu is amazing. Gotta love the crisp burritos with some hot sauce.

This week I went to this location twice and both times I ordered the veggie soft taco and both times it has been not just cold but ice cold. The tortilla is ice cold and the beans are ice cold. I always order the #3 soft taco burrito. This week, I’ve gone twice for dinner for the same thing. Normally this location does a fabulous job making it. This week, the first time I got it, they used straight sour cream instead of the ranch dressing (which I hate straight sour cream) . The second time I got it, there was hardly anything in it. About half the portion of meat and lettuce. Very disappointed.

Our first time here. Service was very friendly, food was quick and tasted good. My wife and daughter got the fish tacos and loved them.

I wanted to post the experience I just had here immediately so that the proper person gets the credit, because they went above and beyond to help me in a way that just doesn’t happen very often these days.
Saturday 3/25, 7:15 PM I walk up to go into lobby to find that the lobby closes at 7. Drive Thru is still open, but I have an oversized vehicle that doesn’t do well in drive thrus, so I call inside to see if I could walk up to drive thru window instead. I fully expected (and would have deserved) to have been told “tough cookie”, but that’s not what happened at all!
The manager instead unlocks the lobby door and let’s me in so I can order at the counter, even though the lobby was closed and she was obviously busy. In a situation that she could have been totally rude and brisk/annoyed with me (again, totally deserving) she was nothing but pleasant, understanding, and helpful to me and accommodated me when she easily could have told me no.
The food was delicious as always, but the extra mile taken by this manager and her crew is what made this visit so exceptional. Unfortunately, I did not get her name, but she was a shorter caucasian brunette. Whatever she’s being paid, it’s not enough!
A big thank you to her and the entire crew, Port Orchard Taco Time has more than just quality ingredients, they have quality people too!
