We had Taco Time cater lunch for our Marysville team, and they absolutely nailed it.
The delivery was right on time, the Taco Time team handled the full setup, and everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The portions were larger than expected, which was a great bonus, and the overall presentation was spot on.
From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and clearly cared about the experience. Excellent food, excellent service — we’ll definitely be using Taco Time again for future events. Highly recommend!
Our 15 year old will eat just about anything and even he said his burrito was “disgusting”
Order was placed online and picked up. It was on time but incorrect. We will save ourselves the disappointment by not returning
HAIR IN MY BURRITO 4+ TIMES
If could give this place zero stars I would. I have been coming to the Stanwood Taco time forever, like forever forever. As a native Stanwood person and fellow Washintonian I have grown to love getting a chicken soft taco, no ranch, and a small mexi fry with a dr. pepper occasionally when I am feeling not skinny.
After a long day working up in Smokey point I come home to my wonderful father who just dropped 50 bucks at our favorite place in town, and I am so exited to eat my burrito that he got me. The first red flag is that my burrito is less than 9 inches long, absolutely tiny. If its going to be short I get it but it must be fat ATLEAST. But it wasnt, it just was a short skinny burrito, not as long and full like they used to me. I open up my burrito and am taking bites, while talking about my tiring day at work when. all of a sudden. I see. A LONG CURLY BLACK HAIR INSIDE OF MY BURRITO. And by long I mean like LONG LONG, like 12 INCHES LONG.
This ruined my evening and so naturally I go back to Taco time to get a new burrito. As im trying to not gag as im driving to the joint I am feeling enraged and disgusted.
I get to the Taco time, burrito in hand (I inserted a photo of the hairy burrito below) and I talk to a man with a mustace, I tell him my experience and he has the audacity to ask “wait is the hair black” and im like “I DO NOT KNOW IDC ITS A HAIR IN MY BURRITO” and then, get this, he goes “ah yea its probably a black hair, we have been having issues with this person multiple times”. Multiple times, MULTIPLE TIMES?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Unacceptable. So then he makes me a new burrito and tells me to call costomer service so I can get my money back, (which jokes on him I already had before I left the house and I left a longgggg voice mail because no one answered). So then I get my new burrito and go home and try to force it down but I cant because the long curly black hair is still in my mind.
My dad has found numerous hairs in his burritos before, so has my brother. I can not believe its that difficult to wear hairnets and give people good food that is hairless.
If the person with black curly hair does not get fired then its over for everyone. I will update you all on if I end up getting my store credit for my burrito, my fingers are crossed.
Service was OK unless you consider a clean and tidy dining room in your service quotient. Tables and floor were not clean, napkins, chunks of food etc. under the tables and soft drinks spilled on two as I searched for a place to sit. The search was for a clean table, not an unoccupied one, place was about empty.
Largest dissapointment was the food, soft beef taco, sloppy, short on lettuce or anything else with the cheese like sawdust, chunky sawdust.
The Tater Tots….hard as a rock, gray in color and barely luke warm, entirely unappetizing.
Not going back..ever
Have gone back and realized that the prices are a little high but the quality is that much better. They slice, shredded, cut all toppings fresh that day, the salads/bowls are as much if not more than a quality Mexican restaurant for a fraction of the price. I have been going back since
Their prices are high for what you’re getting. It appears that their rewards program takes a large amount of purchases to even get a reward. Ordering from the app only lets you go inside to pick-up, you can’t go through the drive-thru.
