This location was very clean. It seemed as if the staff was very attentive to the dining area and entryway. No overflowing garbage can or stacked up “dinning in” trays left about like you normally see in most fastfood establishments. It was a nice surprise.
The staff (two individuals) greeted me quickly and were ready to serve. Very friendly as well. It was a pleasant interaction.
My order was 2 Crispy Beef Burritos. I remembered that Taco Time is typically a bit more expensive than other restaurants. But at a cost of $4.79 each, I was a bit disappointed at the product size. At $10.56 I recieved 2 crispy burritos that didn’t even equal the size of one soft burrito that costs $3 less. While the food did indeed taste good, “Just like I remember them”, my stomach was not as satisfied as if I had chosen the other.
I will prolly not continue to go to Taco Time because of the cost to food divided by quality equation.
…but this location was clean and friendly!

Ask for a bean burrito with onions. I got more onions than beans. I don’t know if a it’s a joke.

Great service here. The dining room is clean and inviting for a fast food place. Good menu selection with a variety of price points. The drive thru here is usually pretty fast, maybe a little slower when busy.

Taco Time is the only fast food restaurant I go to. I went to a national competitor once and their food tasted disgusting so I threw it away. Taco Time uses real, fresh food!

The food was pretty good but the dining area was filthy and the service nonexistent. Came in for an early dinner around 4::10 and there were no other customers in the place but every table was dirty. I had to dampen a paper towel and clean one myself. The floor was so disgusting my feet stuck to it while going back and forth to the bathroom. One employee was on break eating out front and was no help. If I needed more taco sauce I had to yell back into the kitchen to get help. It’s too bad the Des Moines location is run so poorly because Taco Time is one of my favorite places to eat.

We moved away 5yrs ago to where there are no Taco Times. Disappointed to find out the portions have shrank, the prices went up, and the food quality was not what I remembered. The staff was friendly however, and the restaurant was clean.

Bad service, reported it , was offered free gift cards for compensation of bad meal ,bad service since receipt was not saved from a bad visit that was not worth remembering. Was offered gift cards to the monetary value in cash lost due to the poor food, service, and atmosphere in the form of free gift cards. The customer relations reached out to me with their resolution, due to my loss of 30 + dollars spent ,and have acquired my information to send such resolution cards for their possible 2nd chance that I have been willing to give them. It’s been 2 plus weeks and no cards sent. This seems to be a repeat from their resolutions centers service as the same customer care for bad service, food, and atmosphere (including cleanlienessreceived from the store their in

I used both the dine-in service & drive-thru services during my visit here. I only went inside because I needed to use the bathroom BUT while I was trying to use the facilities & an employee came & knocked twice; the first time she knocked & asked me if I was okay (uh yeeah) & the second time she knocked I told her I was washing my hands, which I was! I was in the bathroom for a total of about 7 min MIND YOU! I also had to wait a few minutes for someone else to get out before I got to go in also that she didn’t account for obviously. I don’t like being treated in this matter SMH.
& The drive-thru service was slow!
