After such a long wait and then receiving food in this condition, the experience was really disappointing. I understand mistakes happen, but the quality of the replacement order made it clear there wasn’t much care taken in correcting the issue. Hoping TacoTime can improve both service speed and food quality going forward.
The lobby is cute, clean, and welcoming. You can tell the owners care about this place!
The food was good and the employees were accommodating.
Clean restaurant with efficient service.
Top 5 BEST items are:
1). Chimichanga (ask for extra cheese on )
2). Crisp Bean Burrito (“crisp” pinto-bean NOT soft shell or meat)
3). Casita Burrito
4). Hard Shell Taco
Needed Repairs (Negative Review):
There are two negative issues with the Payson, Utah franchise; #1). extremely narrow unsafe (drive-up window) access. #2). The resturant location makes it inconvenience and not accessible for high volume freeway traffic.
• (Drive-Up Window) has extremely unsafe narrow width of space for vehicles to use. The restaurant must have been built when outdated building code requirements/ordinances and fire/safety laws did not require businesses having a drive-up window to have safe measurements requiring a limited number of feet for customers staying inside their vehicles using drive-up window. In fact, you can see numerous visible scuff marks where vehicles have side-swiped the fence running parallel to the building, including marks on the cement curb, wooden/plastic telephone transformer box, & power pole.
• (Location Inconvenient & Outdated) Unfortunately, this store is not close to the busiest business areas of Payson. Hopefully, the Taco Time franchise will one day soon build a new restaurant in the shopping center areas, next to I-15 freeway exit. This would gain “tens-of-thousands” more customers each year and could increase Taco Time sales 100%+ yearly just by being located in the heaviest shopping districts and greatest traffic flow area of Payson near Walmart and the ever growing business in this area.
