Had pulled pork and carne asada tacos with soft corn tortillas and they were excellent! The salsa and red hot sauce were great! I Highly recommend Taco Taco

This restaurant is just great – it is near Central Pattaya but in a quiet Soi that you need to look for – I had tacos (soft) Chen and beef – many more to choose from. Extensive Mexican menu. Friendly helpful staff. Ok yes I had 2 house Margaritas and yes they were really good.

Hard to find without google maps but it was well worth the visit. The pork carnitas tacos were amazing and the staff is super friendly. I will be coming back.

An excellent surprise to eat in this small restaurant in a small side lane, very well decorated a touch of Mexican culture with the collection of skulls. The air conditioning is refreshing and the dining area is brightly colored, the music is pleasant. The menu is quite extensive and the prices are consistent with others in town. I wouldn’t say that it’s the best Mexican restaurant in town but still in the top three. Recommended to try different things sometimes.

The tortillas were stale and meat filling was a bit too dry even after adding sauce. It looked good more than it tasted good. The Carne Asada was the only that tasted good but tortillas still stale..

The food is always great and pretty authentic considering it’s 8,000 miles from Mexico. The ambience feels like a slice of Mexico. I’ve been eating here a couple of times a month for several years. I saw a review from a person who prefaced his unfavorable review with ” I am from California” then blasted the place based on one meal. That must have been an aberration. I too and from California, spent a lot of time thoughout the Southwest and Mexico and had a Hispanic wife. I even speak Spanish. Taco Taco compares favorably with tacos anywhere in the World.

Preface: I’m from California and I know what real Mexican food tastes like. Figured with this many good reviews that this place would be good. Boy was I wrong!
Many people talked about the burritos being great, my “beef” burrito was literally stuffed almost entirely full of only rice! See pic. A teeny bit of beef and no other ingredients, no beans, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, nothing — they should’ve called it a rice burrito. For 320 baht? Insulting and offensive.
Other people recommended the Carne Asada . Are you kidding me? Maybe if you like eating rubber inner tubes. Absolutely inedible! Rubbery and full of gristle. Cannot even be chewed! And small portions of it as well.
I’m guessing these reviews must be mainly from drunk people who will eat anything and think it’s good.
NEVER AGAIN!!!

Came across this place at random and gave it a try; food was fantastic! Very authentic Mexican food, (hard to find in Asia) flavorful with house made sauces and all. I felt like I was eating at my Aunties back in Puebla. Pleasant staff, great Margarita’s and reasonable pricing. Def will visit next trip to Pattaya!
