We wanted to make a pick up order and we called at 4:30pm we were told to hold on so we waited 10 minutes just for the guy to hang up on us. It was 4:40pm. We decided to just drive there an order we get there at 4:48pm to walk in and the guy says you have 5 minutes to order…..he was being rude not knowing we were on hold for 10 minutes just to be hung up on and for him to be rude on top of that is not professional at all. We then order our order and ask for extra green sauce he says if you want extra green sauce you can get it out of the tin there…that guy needs to be more polite to his customers that pay his bills. We love this place and spend money here so for him to treat us like an inconvenience after we experienced what we did was just wrong.

Service was good, the lady working at front was as fastest she could, but food was insipid was not tasty!! We waited over an hour for our food!! They charge for potato chips when most of restaurants don’t charge you for them, and to top it off when we got home the potato chips were never in our bag!!! Any way our burritos were excessively full of ONIONS!!! I like onions don’t get me wrong but this burritos maannnn no noo nooo!!! I’m going back to Pablo’s Taco Truck next to Gus Stake House avoid this place my first and last time going to this place Taco del rey I don’t recommend it.

The BEST tacos in and around Sonora! We even decided to use their catering for our wedding and everyone loved the taco bar! They even let you borrow warmers. We ordered the full size
and it could easily feed 200 people. We had around 70 people and had over half left. Everyone is always so friendly as well.

I was really excited about the menu and location. The salsa bar is fresh and there is plenty to choose from. The staff was very friendly. I got the Sonora burrito. It was so good! The only downside is that I believe the chili relleno chili was canned. It was a very light green compared to a fresh chili which would be a dark green. Not too big of a just something I noticed. I will be going back.

At $1.50 each their Sunday street taco promotion can’t be beat. Even at full price they are a great deal, you can’t even buy a burger at that price. Plus service was fast and friendly. As pictured, only $4.50 cash.
