Another Albuquerque classic spot. You could call it a hole in the wall but it’s actually quite large. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The menu doesn’t have midday lunch options (smaller portions) so if you’re limited to a la carte or dinner portions. I opted for dinner and did receive a large portion.

Recently moved to ABQ always looking for good Mexican food. I was expecting just a walk up and order, it’s a whole nice restaurant inside. The staff was awesome and said it was all family owned, working and homemade. And it was delicious! Got to watch sopapillas being made and they were huge!

We were the only table there on a Saturday night before Mother’s Day. They got our order wrong, which took quite a long time. They corrected it. My mom asked for sopapillas 4 times, the server kept saying they were making them. We ate our meal and continued to wait for our sopapillas. Three tables sat down, came in (staggered) and all had their food with sopapillas! We left, disappointed with the quality of our food. We will probably never go back.

What awesome dinners had here. Caught it before the dinner rush and had wonderful service. The chili relleno was done well, rice was full of veggies. The chips, salsa and sopapilla were all excellent. No wonder Jesse ate here!

They have a sign outside that reads “World Famous Tacos”. Which is right on the mark. I would say these tacos are made with an ingredient that is not in many dishes…..and that is love.

Best 10 buck lunch. So good. I got the chili cheese fries and steak pieces. So good it came with guacamole too. The staff is really nice and attentive.
