Visiting from out of town and the in-laws brought us here. Wow…..amazing food and HUGE portions. I had the asada torta and it tasted exactly like the tortas I had in Mexico. My kids got the burrito and it came out decorated like the Mexican flag. Salsa was fresh. Definitely coming back more hungry the next time we’re in town.

I don’t understand why people like Tacos Rojas so much I think it’s a lack of options. The fajita nachos were bad, the regular steak burrito is literally just dry steak in a tortilla by itself and messed up my stomach for hours. It’s so easy to just go to a good alternative like Pueblo Chico it’s better food and value, but they’re closed on Mondays so you’re stuck with this. I figured I’d give them a try since I’ve had good experiences with the location downtown but this Keagy road location seems to be behind the curve.

A beautiful restaurant with fresh, amazing food. No matter what you order, it comes out splendid.

The chimichangas were amazing and filling, two with two sides for $15 and look at the burrito my friend got?

I went during lunch with my friend and we were the only ones in there (not a bad thing). The atmosphere was amazing, murals, tiles, hand painted chairs, and overall a lovely Mexican style resturant. The food took a little while to come out, but it was because it was being made from scratch. The food was amazing, my friend said it’s the best Mexican he has ever had (i agree that it’s really good). The host was very friendly and took great care of us, if I’m in the area I’ll go again for sure.

If you are craving tacos, I would highly recommend this place. Huge taco selection which is ala cart. They do have other traditional items as well but the tacos are killer.
I sampled the fish, shrimp, and steak which were all amazing.

They do have a small bar with margaritas as well.

Go check the out, you will be happy you did

Food was decent. Only one worker. No chips and salsa- I feel like that is a Mexican restaurant tradition.

Pretty expensive for Mexican food , there are better options than this place . You DO NOT get any chips and salsa here UNLESS you pay for them . Seriously …that’s kind of lame . Food wasn’t very good , my taco salad had watered down beans and was soggy . Not crisp . My wife ordered the 3 taco beef lunch …she gave them a 3.5 out of 5 stars . Nothing special . I won’t return .

I’m from Los Angeles and have a very special love of Hispanic and Mexican foods. I was so excited when I found the original location when I moved here 3 years ago and I am thrilled that they now have 4 locations. The one at Keagy Village is clean, easy to get in and out of, quick, and the staff is always kind, friendly and helpful.

I’m still only picking up food to go, but I look forward to going out to dinner and trying one of their margaritas in the future.

The lunch and dinner specials are awesome. Today’s lunch special was the California quesadilla. It’s amazing! And mammoth! I knew the California burrito was huge, but I was not expecting this awesomeness from the quesadilla!

My favorite tacos are the Rojas tacos and the al pastor, but all are delicious!

The food almost ok,bad service and overpriced (paid 5 dollars for a taco) i count the meat pcs in the taco there was only 10 little chunks less that a 1/4 of inch in size and also I order a menudo soup and I have to fish in the bowl to find the meat (portions not proportional to price)

We really enjoyed Taco Rojas! I got an assortment of tacos, the carnitas was my favorite but the chorizo and Pollo were also good. Slight crisp on the Tortilla edges made them . Buyer beware, the burritos are HUGE, like feed 3 ppl huge, but well prepared! We dined in the afternoon and although I think there was only one server, we were taken care of with no problems! We will definitely be back!
