But the real surprise? The Elote – Street Corn. Grilled corn with queso fresco, mayonnaise piquin, and chili ashes — honestly, at first glance I thought “no way I can finish this, it’s huge!” But the flavor was so addictive that I ended up eating the whole thing. Absolutely worth it!
Definitely going back soon to try more from their menu. If you’re in Alexandria and love tacos with a twist — Taco Rock is a must!
The tacos are just amazing! The service is wonderful as well! We usually sit at a table, but this time around we chose the bar and Carlos was our bartender for the day! He was great with his recommendations for drinks and mocktails.
Every taco I had was spectacular! You have a variety to choose from.
The theme of the place is inspired by rock music I believe.
You get to watch rock music on a massive TV screen and eat at the same time.
The drinks are awesome. Service was great. I came during lunch but I imagine this is a great place during happy hour.
So I tried 3 different tacos and the empanadas.
I also tried their margaritas,
Tina made some of the best I have ever had!
The place is very cozy especially with the outdoor seating and large bar!
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and I highly recommend this place.
Service, food and drinks were all great!
All the bartenders are not equal!
Tina is amazing!
If she is there you are in great hands!
If she is not working when I go next time, I may not stay!
The others fill your glass with crushed ice and you don’t get much of a drink.
The food is usually good but some nights it may come out cold in the center.
Be careful parking in this lot! They are tow happy and may tow you if you’re not careful!
I am traumatized by places that do this because they often screw up. So just be aware!
One of the bartenders here has a big attitude. I don’t plan on ever visiting this location again as long as he works here.
I don’t know happened to Tina, but I miss her!
