If you’re a local or a visitor from out of town, Taco Rico has delicious food, the best service, and the atmosphere was on point. Definitely eating here again on another date night with my lady or a quick bite at lunch time. Yall better not sleep on this place because it’s AMAZING!!!! 10 out of 10

Tacos are fire and from east LA I would know. Tortillas are obviously hand made and thin so you taste more meat not like the double tortillas other spots use. They dont shy on the meat. I havent tried nothing else so im speaking on the tacos alone. Fire

Went to Taco Rico for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve seen the spot for a while but never stopped in. The tacos are made to order and I live the freshness of the cilantro and lime. I had 3 tacos…chorizo, pulled pork and grilled chicken. They were all great.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews even if the food wasn’t the best but this time I won’t hold myself back. I spent $30+ and my tacos were so bad they tasted like chemicals I couldn’t figure it out why my shrimp tacos were tasting like soap or bleach but it definitely tasted like some chemicals, I even tried to eat the other one and in fact both were tasting the same and my husband got nachos and they were dry and the chips were stale… I did not let my son eat his food to avoid him getting sick but I’m not going back and I will be calling DPH this is completely unacceptable. If I’m paying for my food I’m expecting to get something edible besides the portion of the food was very little but that’s not the point I’m more concerned about why was our food tasting like chemicals… today we are not sick because we threw the food away!.

There is one handicap parking space and around 10 free parking spaces. The building is in excellent shape and well maintained. The dining area is small but acceptable. The employees are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Mexican food. There is a drive thru here. The price for a carne asado taco is $3.25, which is very reasonable. The food is very authentic and tastes great. Overall, I am quite pleased with my food order from this restaurant

This Mexican restaurant is a decent option for a quick bite, but don’t expect anything extraordinary. I’ve been here three times and while the food is edible, it’s not the most memorable Mexican cuisine I’ve had. If you’re in a hurry and need something to eat, it’s a serviceable choice, but don’t expect to be blown away.

Taco salad was HORRIBLE!!! I don’t know about these new owners. I was there right at 11 when they opened, it did not serve me well. The wait was extra long and while I asked for shredded chicken, I did not receive it. The unidentified meat was tasteless and made me sick. I used to frequent this place multiple times a week, but today was the last time. This is the second time I received a yuck taco salad. Also, those jalapeños were slimy and gross.
