Stopped in with my husband on our way to a mini getaway, and we’re so glad we did. We both ordered the soft steak tacos, and they did not disappoint. The meat was tender and seasoned just right. It was full of flavor without being overly salty or greasy. Simple, delicious, and hit the spot. We’d definitely come back for another quick bite if we’re in the area again.

It’s okay here. Staff was friendly. The salsa and street tacos are pretty spicy . There’s menus up above the cash register and more behind the cash register on the wall. They give you a number to take to your table and deliver your food there after you order at the cashier. The bathrooms are in the back, to the left of the cash register. The air conditioner doesn’t reach back there so it’s noticeably hotter back there. The music is a bit loud and is in Spanish. About 20-30 minutes after eating I needed an emergency pitstop in a small rural town due to my stomach not agreeing with me. Not sure why exactly, so I cannot assign any definitive reason.

Food was ok. Salsa was spicy and chips were not too fresh tasting.
Women’s Bathroom was very dirty with toilet tissue all over the floor. There was a sign that said to not throw toilet paper in toilet but the trash can was across the bathroom. If they want you putting paper in the trash. I suggest a trash can next to the toilet to prevent the mess in there. It was also very hot in the bathroom area.
There were a lot of flies in the eating area and although my food was ok tasting, I lost my appetite and could not finish what is typically my favorite dish, carnitas nachos. My partner had tacos and rice and beans.
You have to pay for chips and salsa…they are not included like most Mexican places. We didn’t eat ours, so it was a waste of money.

I can’t believe I have been in Americus almost 2 years and just recently tried this restaurant. It’s cute and cozy inside and the food is amazing. Absolute perfection both times I’ve eaten here. I plan to come back soon! I highly recommend the burrito bowls and the hard tacos

I met my best friend here for dinner, this place was wonderful. The food was excellent and not too pricey at all. The service was great, it was very busy when we arrived, they continued to check on us. They served us within 5-10 minutes of us placing our order. The food was more than enough for us, that we both had to get a box togo. This was a very family-friendly place. We diffently was very pleased and will return.

Best tacos and burritos in town. No competition. Barilla tacos or burrito are my favorites. Service is great and staff is friendly and prompt. Support this local business!

Randomly stopped by on a quick trip and was pleasantly surprised. Amazing quality food with that Central American comfort feel. I’m originally from Central America & have lived in LA & TX so I’m picky. Service was supreme which is rare these days. Rey definitely has something special going on there. I had Birria* & Carne Asada tacos. Ate too quick for pics …. lol

I judge a Mexican restaurant by it’s sopes. Most of them don’t have any and worth the trip. The al pastor sopes here were excellent as was the gordita and shrimp taco. Most places use the same tortillas you can get 20 for $1 at the grocery store. This place is doing something different and it really pays off on the flavor and texture. The dining room is very clean and the food comes out promptly. If I am ever in town I will visit again.
