We had a lovely dinner. The service was fast, friendly, and polite. We ordered Enchilladas and the protein bowl. The protein bowl was so large my boyfriend had to take half of it home. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

What a great find! I was craving Mexican, and stopped into Taco-quila based on their previous reviews. It did not disappoint!

Service was friendly and fast. Chips and a great salsa came out quickly and drunk orders were taken just after those were set down.

We were given just enough time to review the menu before our meal orders were taken.

I ordered three tamales with some salsa verde on the side and my partner ordered the Burrito Bandera.

I have never had tamales in made quite like this, with very delicious and light corn bread over the shredded chicken, smothered in a dark red sauce, with cheese on the top. I added the salsa Verde to my bites, and found it to taste very fresh and flavorful. The tamales were also much larger than what I’m used to getting at many restaurants, and all around I was delighted with my dish and pretty full after just over one!

The burrito was massive, and came covered in three different sauces, each one so tasty, and some fine pico de Gallo over the top. Rice and refried beans were served on the side.

We were too full to eat all the food, and couldn’t have fit dessert as well, so took our leftovers home, and will definitely return to try more things on the menu, perhaps the fajitas, which we could hear sizzling and smell from a nearby table, and likely the amazing cocktails.

Highly recommend.

11/21/25 returned. Food so amazing we couldn’t take photos because we just ate it. Still very recommended. Stop reading and just go. Best Mexican food in the area.

Hard to find a good Mexican place that has trustworthy food. This is the place you want to try!! The salsa you get is not spicy, perfect for everyone. The meals are good size and drinks are awesome. Must try!!

By far the best Mexican Food in Pasco County. Haven’t had street tacos this good since El Greco’s in Mexico City. This place is solid two thumbs up!

This establishment is widely regarded as the finest dining experience in the Pasco County region. My recent meal consisted of the Christina protein bowl, and the exceptional service provided by waiter Andres earned it a resounding five-star rating. The ambiance is characterized by a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for both culinary enthusiasts and those seeking an enjoyable evening. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

I visited Taco-Quila recently and left absolutely delighted. From the moment you step inside, the festive décor, lively music, and upbeat energy set the stage for an unforgettable evening.
The cocktail program truly shines—margarita flights are both beautiful and potent, and there’s a full bar with creative drinks that elevate the fun factor.

Hidden Gem!!! I have never been to a place where I have no issues, no complaints, just 5 stars across the board. Everything about this place is top-notch. The food is so so so good! Especially the pork tacos. The meat was so tender and juicy and flavorful. And let’s not talk about the drinks! FINALLY a place with a full drink menu(3 pages) and everything tastes AMAZING! I had a rum rummer, a prickly pear margarita, and a kiwi margarita…all delicious! And the service was outstanding! The bar server Felipe, I think, was pleasant and patient and always provided service with a smile! All the staff was nice though. Plus, he is easy on the eyes! Also, as a bonus, when it’s your birthday, they switch the music and come out and dance. I will go back to New Port Richey just to eat here again. Don’t sleep on this place! They have only been open 3 months, so don’t second guess the decision to eat here if they are not busy.

First time, won’t be the last time. Overall everything was excellent…the top shelf margarita was not top shelf and tasted pretty made. The entrees were excellent very tasty. The table side quac was not made table side but was amazing very fresh and tasty. We’ll try other options next time and hopefully a couple of these things get addressed. Overall not bad and yes we will come back.
