I rarely leave reviews, but Taco Pete was extremely disappointing. The food was nasty — completely unseasoned and overly saturated protein that tasted bland and watered down. My burrito was dripping so much liquid it took three napkins just to keep it from soaking everything. It wasn’t juicy, just soggy and poorly made. Even worse, my wife ordered a chicken quesadilla and bit into parchment paper that had literally cooked into the food. That’s beyond careless. If you want quality Mexican food with real flavor, stay away from this place.

My husband and I drove up from South Georgia to try the steak burrito. Although, the wait was longer than 15mins we were ok with it because we heard great things. Well, when we got our burrito it was lukewarm warm. We were expecting it to be hot. Then the meat was not steak, it was shredded beef. That’s two different types of meat. We were expecting steak pieces not shredded beef. It gave up a beef wrap vibe more so than a burrito. With that said, we’ll give it a 5.

I gave another restaurant in east point a try. Another one failed. The chicken tacos were subpar, no explosive flavor at all. I asked if the guacamole was freshly made they said fresh from the store. (LOL)

Went for my second time within a few days of my 1st time. I did NOT get what I ordered which was the same thing I got the first time & it was amazing, hence is why I went back, but I did NOT receive what I got the first time. I also had a very simple request which was put my nachos on the side because they did get very soggy the first time & it just took away from the taste. They acted like I gave them a hard math problem. I waited 40 minutes for some nachos that was some BS. Will not go back. Again, the first visit was amazing, & sorry if I expect the menu items to be made with the same ingredients just 2 days later from previously going, but consistency is key and they just don’t have that. Waste of time and money.

Me and my best friend stopped here because we wanted Tacos. Excellent customer Service! But the food was not good. That’s probably how Taco Bell is surviving directly across the street because I would have rather went there. They need to allow the grease to drain from the meat, no flavor in the food. The rice and beans were horrible. My friend found a large dead spider in her nachos that she initially thought was hair until she saw that it wasn’t. I won’t elaborate on that because that wasn’t MY experience but I do feel it was worth mentioning. But overall, food sucks but the customer Service was great, which is why I gave them 5 stars for that.

Glad to see y’all are open again and the remodel looks amazing. My food was great as usual. I watched the hispanic lady at the window have an attitude when my boyfriend and I ordered. However, when two white men ordered after us, the attitude seemed to suddenly go away. The food is good. Is the service like this in out in slauson too?

I tried 3 tacos and I will say they were very good but it took along time to get. It was fresh and well made but going forward I will try ordering online so it is ready when I arrive. If that works out I will certainly be a repeat there for lunch.

Stuffed chicken quesadilla was really good. The nachos were just the normal stadium nachos. I think I would prefer the cheese on the side because the chips can get soggy quick. Great customer service and good food options. It isn’t authentic Mexican food but will satisfy the mexican food crave.

Best turkey burger you will ever have in your life. I’ve been going here since 2016. Started my own business left the area in 2020. Glad to see they are not only still going strong but have renovated and still have the same quality and service. See yall for my weekly fix

I normally really enjoy their food but on this particular day instead of me getting the shrimp tacos like I always get I got steak tacos and let me just say they were horrible. The “steak” tasted like potted meat. It did not taste like steak and it was something inside the taco that looked almost liked clunks of ground beef and on top was some type of shredded meat that they called steak. It left me feeling sick. Not to mention I ordered a large lemonade that was completely watered down I don’t know if their trying to cut the cost on actual steak and feeding us God knows what.
