I was very pleasantly surprised on my first visit to this restaurant. I went for an early dinner and the restaurant was practically empty, but the food quality and service were exceptional. I had a combination plate dinner with cheese, enchiladas a crispy taco, rice, and beans and a bit of guacamole. I love the tall glass of iced tea and the dinner was better than I was anticipating. I’m definitely going back when I’m in San Antonio again! I cannot wait!

I’ve only been here a few times and food was amazing, service was excellent , menu prices great/good portions, and restaurant very clean!
They serve good homemade tortillas and very delicioussss menudo! ( Honestly one of the BEST menudo I’ve had) This place is very close to my home but never noticed. This will be my first choice for Mexican food, can’t wait to go back and try something new! Highly recommend!

First time here, Ordered the menudo and some tacos to-go. It’s delicious, clean, not greasy, so good!
Also had the chicharron taco, bean and cheese. The tacos are big and stuffed, on homemade flour or corn. I will be back to try more. Highly recommend.

This must be a very good restaurant during the day, we came late on a Sunday night and Taco Parrilla Grill was not as good as the reviews had stated. The restaurant is clean roomy enough, servers beer and has a drive through. Nice tables and chairs. Our waitress was kind, prompt and took good care of us. The toastadas are great and the salsa was fresh and had good flavor. The flour tortillas were great. My wife ordered the cheese enchiladas but they came smothered in a carne guisada gravy. It just didn’t make sense that cheese enchiladas came with a meat gravy. The plate was good but disappointing. I ordered the Ribeye Ranchero, a beautiful plate but the steak had a weird taste like the steak was old or stale. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, if I’m in the area I’ll stop by and order something else.

We’ve been eyeing this restaurant for some time since it took the location from one of my favorite Asian restaurants Spicy Ginger. Haven’t had some breakfast tacos for some time now and I really wanted some good ones. Had this place saved to see how the reviews go and they looked amazing and the reviews were correct.
I got a picadillo, chorizo and egg, and a carne guisada. They were all very flavorful! I think the star of the three personally is the picadillo. It had had a ton of flavor and I was simply impressed.
The one issue I had is that they gave us two wrong tacos. We ordered a barbacoaand got a bean and cheese taco which is a cheaper taco. I understand mistakes happen and a call to the restaurant fixed the issue. If you happen to be around the area come check it out!

Stopped by for an order of mini tacos to go through the drive thru. Prompt service, friendly staff and the MiniTacos ever so tasty! Liked the beans but spiked them with their green salsa and on point! Highly Recommend for a night you don’t feel like cooking, reasonable prices!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is fantastic. The salsa was fresh, the beans were perfect and the shrimp quesadillas blew me away. In a city of great Mexican restaurants, this one stands out. Definitely recommend!

Update: I’ve never been a huge fan of chorizo but these have become a solid favorite! Chorizo breakfast tacos are soooo good!
I’ve only been through the drive-thru but this was my 3rd trip. I’ve had the breakfast tacos, the enchilada Verde (beef), and the street tacos with cheese. The service is consistently prompt and friendly. I’ve been greeted and served with a warm smile. Even at the drive thru, I feel like I’m being welcomed to a home cooked meal. I will continue coming here, as much for the gracious atmosphere as for the delicious food.

I absolutely love everything about this place. The atmosphere was beautiful and comfortable and the food was incredibly delicious! And I had the best strawberry margarita ever!! I’ll be back for sure

I was searching for something near me and this restaurant came up. I am glad I decided to give it a try. I tried the beef fajita special. The food was really good and the flour tortillas were homemade. They had several different salsas. I recommend the red and the habanero. This place did not disappoint.
