Always consistent freshly made food and delicious. The chicken fajita tacos are quite a delicious improvement with the seasoning.

Placed an order online for pickup and was ready at the time it stated it would be. Staff were friendly yet attentive and the cleanliness was great during the short time I was there. Food was delicious and love having a sauce/veggies bar for your meal.

**Disappointing Experience at Taco Palenque**

I recently visited Taco Palenque and was disappointed by the service. Upon arrival, I noticed that the general manager at the time, Mireya, was engaged in conversation rather than attending to customers. Another guest and I entered at the same time, yet the person behind us was served first because the manager was too busy talking.

Although the restaurant itself was clean, a few tables needed attention, and the area near the salad bar had an excessive number of flies, which was off-putting. When we finally received our order, it was incorrect. I had requested kids’ meals that included soup, but I was only charged for the meals without soup, resulting in an incomplete order. Had Mireya been paying closer attention, she might have caught this mistake before finalizing the transaction. Unfortunately, she seemed more focused on personal interactions than ensuring quality service.

Overall, this visit did not meet expectations, and I hope improvements can be made to provide better customer service in the future.

Don’t go expecting a lot of food. Lately it’s less food for more money. Very expensive and the quantity leaves a lot to be desired. It’s not inflation it’s greed. I will not be returning until they return to their normal quantities. Barely a bite full of meat. Their Panchos were WORSE. ‍♀️

Absolutely horrible! Ordered to go, and for the $30+ dollars I spent, I felt like I was being fed worse than a dog!
Normally I’d opt to eat at the restaurant, but unfortunately due to having a close relative at the LMC hospital, traveling from out of town, this was an option to maybe have a hearty meal. A fajita super quesadilla & a fajita plate is what i paid for and was missing sour cream, beans, guacamole, and tortillas.
No description needed! Pictures say it all! If I wasn’t feeling stressed already, seeing our food just made it three times worse.

Great Tex-Mex food for a reasonable price. But you must always double check the online to-go orders. They have a free salad bar.

Taco Palenque’s caldo de res is a hearty and flavorful dish that truly hits the spot. The presentation is colorful, with a variety of fresh vegetables, including corn, zucchini, carrots, green beans, and chickpeas, all simmered in a rich broth. The broth itself is well-seasoned with just the right amount of spices, offering a comforting balance of savory flavors without being too overpowering. The chunks of tender beef are plentiful, cooked to perfection, and fall apart easily with every bite.

One of the highlights of this dish is the corn, which is sweet and juicy, adding a nice contrast to the earthy and savory flavors of the other ingredients. The zucchini and green beans have just the right texture, not too mushy, and the chickpeas add a unique twist to the classic recipe. It’s clear that fresh ingredients were used, which really elevates the overall experience.

The serving size is generous, making this caldo de res a perfect option for a filling meal. Paired with warm tortillas, it’s a satisfying dish that comforts you on a cold day or when you’re craving something homemade. However, the dish could have been even better if there was a bit more caldo (broth) to soak up all the flavors. The ingredients were well-prepared, but a heartier portion of broth would have made it even more enjoyable.

While it’s definitely on the traditional side, Taco Palenque has managed to make it feel special with their execution. Overall, this is a great take on a beloved classic, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Mexican comfort food.

Actually the taco de guisada was a little dry and the corn on the cup i was expecting a good corn in a cup, but unfortunately it was burned I took some bites and it was black and kind of crispy due to it being burnt and the supposed salsa de guacamole is almost brown, sadly its becoming bad.
