Clean restaurant. Clean lobby. Good service. Restaurant was cold. So food gets cold fast. Prices are all the same on TP so nothing unexpected. The only thing is that tacos were not as u would expect from TP. Usually u get tacos with enough beans or cheese or beef or chicken. Tonight we ordered quesadillas and it needed more cheese. And the piratas had more beans than cheese and beef.

One of the newer restaurant. Clean dining areas. I was pleasantly surprised at the in house made corn tortillas, they are delicious, I order my tacos in corn tortillas because it’s that good. Consistently great menudo, beans and fideo. A regular food stop for me…..KUDOS!!!

recently placed an order through the app, and when I got home, the order was completely wrong and missing items. My sons ordered chicken burritos but received fajitas instead. I also ordered a taco, which was missing, and no salsas were included. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, who told me the taco was now available and I could drive back to pick it up. Since the order already took 30 minutes to make, I requested a refund for the missing taco, which he agreed to. This morning, I noticed my account was still charged for the full amount. After speaking with a manager in person, she said I would be refunded the full amount for the inconvenience. However, I only received a refund for the taco, listed as “unsatisfied customer,” instead of reflecting the poor service and mistakes. The manager also shared that he was recently transferred to this location due to incidents like this, which highlights ongoing service issues. This experience was frustrating and reflects poorly on the restaurant’s ability to fulfill orders correctly.

This review is based on multiple visits, mostly through the drive-thru. Every time, the experience has been disappointing. Orders take 20–30 minutes even when the app says they’re ready for pickup. Food is dry, lacks flavor, and feels low quality. Customer service is poor—staff are unorganized and show no compassion or concern when you voice issues. Orders are often wrong with zero quality control. The food doesn’t reflect the price. This location needs better management and kitchen productivity.

Not many people in this location so I was in and out quickly with my order. The speed at which my order was taken till the time it came out was incredible. The dining section was very well cleaned and huge. They follow the social distancing guidelines, which I love. I haven’t seen the bathrooms there, but had I and they were clean, I would have rated this location a 5. I highly recommend this place. One minor detail though, if you are traveling North bound on Loop 20 you will pass this location, but don’t worry, just get on the right lane and turn into Lakeside Division. Drive inside for a few yards and do a U turn and take a left at the light exiting Lakeside. Stay on the right lane and a few feet turn into Taco Palenque. It might be a hassle for those going North bound but it’s worth it. Oh and the Piratas are well served here.

Waited 20 minutes for 3 tacos, pirata was cold,4 strips of fajita. Drive thru and lobby same thing always taking 20 to 30 minutes.
Oct 28th…waited 5 to 8 minutes in front of counter…waited for someone to take my order..lady who was on break had to get up from her time off to call somebody to take my order…nobody tended to front of store had to leave to take my business elsewhere…where are crew leaders or managers…

This location. Always takes forever 20-30 minute wait. Drive -thru order just for beans and cheese. Everyone always need to be pulled up to side. To the point where you can’t move around.

Definitely not the Taco Palenque from the old days… lukewarm menudo, piratas that seemed to be sitting around a while and guisado taco that well…should’ve been served in a bowl w tortillas on the side. And FYI, 2 bad tortillas don’t equal up to one good one. Such a waste of tortillas…no wonder their prices keep going through the roof. No more of what USED to be a great late night staple for many years.
