The drive thru cashier was very polite and courteous. The food was not good at all. By that I mean, it’s ridiculous to think you pay a high amount for the beef fajita piratas but to only get two tacos with minimum meat is terribly upsetting. Get it together and you should be ashamed of skimping on meat with those prices. I don’t mind paying if it’s worth it and this meal was not worth it at all. Shane in whoever made them and poor training on the stores fault. Why oh why do you do this to a to go customer.

If you’re traveling through Cotulla, Taco Palenque is a must-stop spot not just for the food, but for the whole experience. The location is convenient, spacious, and ideal for travelers of all kinds.
One of the things I truly appreciated was the ample parking, which easily accommodates RVs, trailers, and regular vehicles a big plus for those on the road. The restaurant itself is large and open, with plenty of tables, so finding a seat is rarely an issue, even during busy hours.
The atmosphere is welcoming, with a staff that’s incredibly kind, helpful, and proudly Hispanic/Mexican. You can feel the authenticity and warmth the moment you walk in.
While there’s no kids’ play area, the lively environment and generous seating make it a comfortable place for families and groups. The only downside was the cleanliness of the bathrooms, which could use some attention. It’s understandable given the high volume of visitors, but I do believe this could be improved with someone assigned specifically to keep the restrooms maintained throughout the day.
Despite that, I’m giving Taco Palenque in Cotulla a full 5 stars. The hospitality, space, and overall experience were more than enough to make up for that one detail.

Taco palenque in Cotulla Texas is my must stop Fresh Mex Restaurant. I order three Beef Fajita tacos ( they were meaty),Thank you (manager) Mr. Juan Saucedo for recommending that i try the corn tortillas, Ooh,they taste so good .thank you Mr. California for grilling the meat so tender and GOOD . The team members also provides Awesome Food Preparations with Excellent customer service. The restaurant restrooms are clean and well stocked with hand soap and paper towels. The Atmosphere is family friendly. Thank you crew members.

We had a chicken fajita, chicken street tacos, and the free chips. There is a salsa and sauce bar. Food was made fresh and generally very good. Only complaint was the $9 margarita was about 90% crushed ice, very little liquid to drink- you might consider it a rip off. Large and spacious seating area.

We normally don’t eat here but we were pretty hungry. The food was good but pricey for simple Mexican food. Omnibus makes this a regular stop for people to eat so it can get packed at times. I’m surprised that several of the bathroom latches don’t lock and it still hasn’t been fixed.

Taco Palenque in Cotulla Tx is the best Mexican restaurant to stop and eat. I wanted to try something different so Mr. Juan ( manager) recommended i try the Quesadillas. I was really hungry so I had the Super Quesadillas with Fajitas.thank you Mr.Juan I enjoyed my meal. Thank you also Ms. Consuelo for recommending the cheesecake, I had to take it to go because I was full .lol. thank you staff for awesome customer service

Restaurant it’s a bit dirty, bathroom needs extreme attention but food is superb. High Traffic Restaurant, if you see a bus parked outside find another restaurant you can’t simply sit anywhere and they do not have enough employees to handle a busload. They need help manning this place

Stopped by for a late lunch, had to wait in line to order. The food is too pricey for the portion sizes and not much of a flavor. The dinning area is dirty and seems to always be dirty when I’ve walked in for a meal.

Happened upon this place due to a bbq joint in the area being closed. I didn’t expect much based on the appearance from the outside but was pleasantly surprised by the good food and fast service. The place was packed which helps speak to its quality. I had a taco platter and would get it again if I return to the area.
