Tried the Gyro as I love them. I must say this is one of the best I have had. Excellent wrap top tier lamb just the right amount of onion. Great place. Restaurant is clean and new on the inside. I can recommend it.

I ordered take out and waited while it was prepared. The person wasn’t friendly but not necessarily rude either, just sort of meh. I don’t know how but when I got home about a mile south, all the food I purchased was cold which makes me think it was cold to begin with — how? We had to microwave what we picked up and then once we started eating it was terrible. We ended up throwing it out and just going out to eat. This is the second time we’ve tried it, the first being about 6 or 7 months ago with a similar experience. There’s just no way I can recommend this place.

This is the most HORRIBLE PLACE EVER!!!!! I wish i there was an option to give negative stars!! WORST customer service i have EVER encountered!! I have placed 2 orders with them and BOTH were HORRIBLE! 1st time, order was placed, said to arrive in 45 mins. Only to arrive almost 2 hrs after said time. Come to find out they didn’t even open up the establishment on time. Did we receive a courtesy phone call letting us know it would be late? NO!! Not even an apology after US calling to find out where the food was. We decided to try them again, and this time was even worse!! Not only was the food late AGAIN. But the order had specified NO ONIONS (as i am allergic to them). Apparently onions are cooked in with the meat. Yet again, no courtesy phone call to let us know. When i called to the establishment the lady answers and says “UGH, WHAT DO YOU WANT?”…. I was hoping she was speaking to someone in front of her but NO, She was talking to ME. I explained the situation and it upset her even more. She put the “OWNER” on the phone and his attitude was even worse than hers! After going back and forth with the man, He finally told me is WAS NOT HIS PROBLEM and if i don’t like it don’t order there anymore and hung up on me!!! I wasn’t asking for a refund or anything free! I just wanted my food without onions. Apparently that was to much to ask! NEVER EVER AGAIN will they get a cent from me!! And hopefully NO ONE has to go through the same experience!

I’ve ordered from here for a while now. At first, all was good. Until I got my tacos delivered to me and they had NO MEAT ON THEM. I called and was told that the manager would call me back. Never got a call. Call the next day and spoke with someone who was VERY rude and told me it wasn’t his problem.
For about a month, I took a break and figured maybe they’d have gotten their act together. WRONG! I ordered tacos SPECIFICALLY with cheese and avacados on the side, as I ALWAYS HAVE. Never been a problem. My tacos are delivered without it. I again call and ask and was told again that I didn’t pay extra (even though I have a receipt showing I did) so instead of calling me and telling me it would be extra, they just omitted it all together. AND THAT IT WASN’T HIS PROBLEM.
I’m done with this place.

My husband went and got us some food there yesterday. It was horrible. I got the beef enchiladas, with beans and rice. Cold, old, dry and they didn’t even cook the corn tortillas. And they warmed it up in the foam container. My husband got a Torta that had beans on it, and very little meat. With cold french fries , and they charged him $15.00 dollars for that. The Health Department needs to pay them a visit.

I’m a delivery driver so I know pretty much what goes on in the background of a one man delivery service. Look the food was good but the customer service sucks. They hung up on me both times I had a quick questions. They triple checked my order and still got it wrong. Now it’s been half an hour and I’m still waiting on the other part of my order after waiting an hour in the first place. So yeah one and done with these guys

I’m reading the other reviews, and I’m confused. It did take a while, but it was 10:30 pm. I thought it was cool that they delivered that late, they had a big menu (something for everyone), and the food was good! Good job guys. Sorry I called to ask where it was. I almost fell asleep! 🙂

Beans smelled like cigarettes, rice was stale
Chimis were absolutley disgusting.
Menu says tacos, but i got street tacos with a pinch of meat and cilantro that damn near looked black.
Overall food was cold, hard and dry.
The avacado was shriveled and tiny as hell.
Save your money. Save your health.

Living .4 miles from taco Nuevo I have picked up dinner here quite often. I feel like I have tried a little bit of everything. The tacos are always very flavorful. Love that they give you cut up limes with your order. I have had the Gordita. Always tastes super fresh. Gave the flautas a shot last week and those were decent. The quesadillas have always been a fav. They aren’t 11 dollar quesadillas you buy from a large restaurant. For 6 bucks you can’t beat an order of their quesadillas. Those are always good. Love to order them with beef. Tonight I gave a burger a try for the first time. Came out to me hot. Meat was good(he made it a double) lots of fresh cut up veggies, and the bun was great. Fries are fries. They were good. I had the pleasure of sitting in the restaurant with the owner and a lady that cooks while my order for finished up, only 15 minutes or so after I’d called it in, it was finished. Always such friendly people. I have been here often and will continue to do so!

A few things you should always bear in mind: you don’t order pasta at a steak house; you don’t order a burger at a Chinese place; etc, etc. To be added to this list is, as should be fairly obvious, you don’t order Mexican food from a pizza place.
Pizza Zone is a really good place and has really great pizza and calzones. I have no idea what possessed them to open a separate, but not separate, Mexican food place as well. They have no idea how to make Mexican food and seem to just use the pizza ingredients they already have on hand.
The enchiladas were pretty disgusting, their red salsa is more akin to marinara than salsa picante, and, I’m not sure how, but they somehow figured out how to mess up even a quesadilla. Probably due to the fact that they seem to have just used the same mozzarella they have on hand for pizzas. I was pretty hungry and didn’t have time to mess around with reordering, so I did eat it. However, I wouldn’t have chosen to.
the only thing on the entire order that was, dare I say, good was the one thing that probably comes in a bag from Ben E Keith and is the same thing that pretty much every restaurant in town uses. The refried beans.
Order pizza from Pizza Zone. Do it all day long. Do it two or three times a day. But please don’t subject yourself to the horrors of Taco Nuevo.
