Taco Nazo® was started in 1978 by Ensenada natives, Maria and Gilberto Romero. They wanted to bring the authentic, fresh taste of Ensenada cuisine to the people of California. Taco Nazo’s authentic Mexican cuisine and delectable Ensenada-style seafood are the ideal way to give your visitors a taste of Baja while also relaxing. For any occasion, we offer platters for pick-up or full catering services. People go from all over the world to visit the Romero family’s five various places.

If you’re anywhere near La Habra and craving authentic Baja-style seafood tacos, Taco Nazo is a must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this spot has built a loyal following — and for good reason.
The fish tacos are absolutely top-tier: crispy, golden-battered fish tucked into warm corn tortillas, piled high with fresh cabbage, pico de gallo, and their creamy white sauce. The shrimp tacos are just as incredible — perfectly seasoned and cooked, with that ideal balance of crunch and tenderness. Everything tastes fresh, hot, and made to order. And don’t skip the salsa bar — the variety and flavor take the meal to the next level.
What really made the experience stand out, though, was Kevin. He was genuinely one of the best employees I’ve come across anywhere. Friendly, patient, and incredibly attentive, he made sure our order was perfect and checked in to see if we needed anything else. He had such a positive attitude and clearly takes pride in his work. It’s rare to see customer service that good, and it made the whole visit even better.
Great food, generous portions, fair prices, and outstanding service — especially thanks to Kevin. I’ll definitely be coming back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best Baja style fish tacos in the LA area,about authentic as its gonna get outside of BC Mexico.Had the beer battered shrimp tacos,excellent,good size,and less than $5 each,2 was enough to fill me up.Good selection of Mexican beers to go along with the tacos.Great service,the place was packed,and they still got the order done quickly.

The famous fish taco is famous for a reason. It was crispy with a hint of spice. You should also try the grilled shrimp taco – this shouldn’t be missed. Both taco is best paired with their crema.

Don’t trust their ‘ready’ times for online orders. Ordered at 5:46 PM with a 6:10 PM pickup; didn’t walk out with my food until nearly 7:45 PM. I stood there for 90 minutes and not a single staff member asked if I needed help or checked on my order status. I understand it gets busy (Friday on lent) but there was total lack of communication and respect for the customer’s time.

Taco Nazo has a simple menu and delivers it perfectly. I had the fish and shrimp tacos which were fantastic. Fish is huge and the battered shrimp is amazing. Coupled with their homemade taco sauce and white sauce along with bites of the grilled salt n pepper chile and I was in foodie bliss.
Sevice is great. Busy but churns quickly and staff is friendly.
Also had a Jaimaca agua fresca to wash it all down.

If you are a fan of fish tacos, you must give this place a try. I ordered fish tacos, a tostada with ceviche, and a michelada. The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. The menu is straightforward and not too extensive, making it easy to choose. I’ll definitely return to try more items from the menu, especially their fish tacos.

I like this place the atmosphere is great. the food is delicious and at a reasonable price, we ordered the three fish taco plate with beans and rice, and for $13 more, you can have a shrimp cocktail and a Michelada, which we did order, The shrimp cocktail was packed with shrimp it was made just right and so was everything else, really good! it can get crowded at certain times of the day. The customer service was beyond great Ashley, the Manager and her crew were courteous, friendly, and attentive. The structure is a good size with plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. I recommend this establishment to those who enjoy ethnic Mexican food at a great price. There’s plenty of parking with handicapped stalls close to the front entrance. Update: 5-12-2024 I’ve been back 3 times since my first visit here and have yet to be disappointed. Customer service is great Jose our server is such a hard worker courteous friendly and attentive. The fish tacos are the best I’ve tasted anywhere around. I’ll be coming back soon. Update: 6-1-2024 Taco Nazo in La Habra never fails had another dinner here, a combination plate of fish tacos, beans, and rice, and potato tacos with a Modelo Michelada and a Sandia Agua, the food and drinks were made perfectly. We watched the Dodgers game on the big screen the atmosphere here is great, and again customer service was great. Amy was so helpful courteous and friendly. I tell you the customer service here makes one want to come back again and again and will be back soon.

Haven’t been eating taco for more than a year and currently in town to get some food nostalgia. Here we are at taco nazo and still incredible as always! Their fish taco is always on point! During covid days they have a limited space for dining in to ensure safety and they sanitized everything before accepting orders. Food is great, people is kind, place is clean! Definitely recommended.
