Burrito was as big as forearm …Food was delicious, service was great, and bonus points for having a menu that actually made me stop and read instead of ordering the usual. This is the only Mexican restaurant I’ve been to where I tried new things and didn’t immediately regret it — everything was really good. Staff was friendly, food came out right, and even the bathroom passed the cleanliness test (which honestly says a lot). Definitely a place I’ll be back

I work at Fort Rucker and I wanted to grab a quick lunch chow so I stopped into the little restaurant down the road from the super friendly staff to the quick service, everything was excellent. The prices are very fair, especially for the great portion sizes. It was a truly authentic experience, and I can’t wait to go back.

Got here had to move due to the air conditioner dripping on me. That’s not even the problem. We ordered food and waited a bit like normal short after my father gets his food. Then my mom and grandma get theirs but they need plates because it’s in a stone. We waited till even a while after my father finished eating to even get our food. We tried getting waiters attention multiple times but they either were in the back or not paying attention. We complained and after a while finally got what we ordered but even after getting my food they didn’t even bring the tortillas and had to chase after a worker for them. Then the im guessing manager tried to explain he was sorry and that people eat at different times like people who came in way before us didn’t get food before us. Then my fajitas weren’t even good but gladly the rest of my family enjoyed their meals just not the service. Won’t be coming back. Also this is for my mother’s birthday not one happy birthday. Never again.

I am a dessert first person so let me start off with the flan.
We ordered a California burrito, guacamole, and a flan.
The flan was out of this world the best I’ve ever had. It came with chocolate caramel and whipped cream on it but it did not need any of those things.
The California burrito was huge and absolutely delicious, the outside was nice and crispy.
The guacamole was creamy and amazing as well and came with a plentiful amount of chips.
The absolute best part about this whole experience was it only cost about $20-$25 for everything.

This place is consistent and the salsa bar is a nice touch. The tacos are good quality and loaded down with meat. Rice and beans always taste fresh too!

Ordered a California steak burrito and got either chicken or pork in it. No fries in it and the rice had corn and peas in it which I’m not a fan of and isn’t disclosed anywhere as far as know. Called to see if I could get a refund because I didn’t like my food and it was incorrect for what I ordered and they said that’s just how it comes. No offer to remake it and an excuse when I asked for a refund. 12 dollars for something I took two bites of and threw away. Make sure you check your food before you leave or just go somewhere else.

BEST Mexican food I’ve had in a while, wow. So good and affordable as well! Carolina was our server and she was very sweet. To name some of the dishes we enjoyed: chicken quesadilla w/ rice and beans, guacamole, Steak Mich, Mich fries and steak tacos. We also got an horchata and pina drink. So so yummy. We will definitely be back soon!

How did such bomb Mexican food end up in random Alabama? I was BLOWN away at how good this place is! Been here twice in a week since I’m in town for work and it’s been stellar. The salsa bar has like 7 salsas, plus red and green on the table and holy guacamole those by themselves are worth the visit. The chips they gave us were warm too…it was like heaven. So far we have gotten as a group volcano tacos (street tacos with melted cheese on the tortilla), regular street tacos, fajitas, pasole, flan. My Mexican friend said if her mom and abuelas cooking is a 10, she rates this place a 9. That’s dang near sacred territory if you ask me. The servers are all super nice and this is a small town restaurant I want everyone to know about and to go visit!
