I really like this Taco Mesa. My wife and I stopped here for dinner tonight. I got the wet carnitas burrito. My wife got the wild fish tacos. The tortillas that they wrapped the burrito in was soft and excellent. I’m sure it was hand made. They have hot food and lots of things to put on your taco. This Taco Mesa is always clean and nice. The employees are helpful and friendly. You can get good food and it is fast. You can eat it there or take it out to easy elsewhere. It is in the same shopping center with the Albertsons market. I stop here about once a month for lunch. Highly recommend. And Julio was the best, great big smile and always with a good joke to make you laugh! If you stop and eat here you will be glad you did! 5 stars. The best!

Had a sad experience with my family after spending close to $80. Food was bland enchilada chicken was for a guisado it was in a red source my enchiladas where green guacamole was brown. Crazy cuz I had a great experience before with co-workers.

It’s expensive but the portions are decent and the food is good. Great salsa bar too. Overall this feels like a very Ladera taco place. To me it’s more of a special occasion taco place vs. a regular taco Tuesday place.

Whoa…local friends took us to lunch here because it’s one of their favorites and we couldn’t stop going back. Everything we had (over 3 separate lunches) was outstanding…just a nice combination of a few different regions in Mexico with that Southern California flavor…and then just done really, really well. They make it all right there…carne asada is marinated is something special, their salsas are all excellent, and best horchata in the area (that last one according to our local friends). Casual, order at the counter, grab your own salsas, eat inside or on a great patio, very friendly staff….definitely, this is the spot.

The food is FANTASTIC and there’s a variety of protein choices to choose from for your tacos or burrito. Plenty of healthy veggies to mix in as well, try the Quesalicious for a appetizer. Lobster taco is a must try! The mixed drinks are kinda on the weak side, go with beers.

I love Taco Mesa. It’s my favorite tiny chain. Their wild Alaskan salmon tacos are AMAZING! Their chips and guacamole are also great. I love the salmon so much that I haven’t branched out to try other things. My son loves the Mexico City Enchiladas. My other son enjoyed his carnitas tacos.

My wife and I just moved to the area from San Diego and it’s been hard trying to find a place with great Mexican food. After trying several places and being disappointed we thought all hope was lost. We stumbled upon this place and decided to take one more chance to find our pursuit of great Mexican food by our new home. This place hands down has the best quality Mexican food I have had in a very long time and they top most places in San Diego. If you are in the area I highly recommend this place if you are looking for amazing food!
