This is our first time eating here. Everything was really good. R got two tacos and a tamale as a sort of sampler. He really liked all of it and he’s really picky about tamales. I got veggie enchiladas and they were great. I really really liked the red sauce.

Came here for lunch thinking it was going to be pretty good, it was better than that. The service was great from the start, our waitress seated us quickly and got our orders. I got 4 regular tacos with steak and jalapenos on the side. It was divine, the nice flavors of the steak and cilantro stood out quite well. There was also this green cream sauce that I added to my tacos which boosted the meal tenfold. Overall, Taco Master is a very good restaurant with authentic Mexican cuisine. They have many tasty items on the menu that you can enjoy.

We did takeout. Although it was takeout, I did check out the dining area and kitchen. The decor is festive and the entire restaurant was very clean. The women behind the counter were very friendly and also helped carry the order to the car for me. That’s awesome service!! Onto the food…The beans that came as a side dish for the main dinners were excellent. I think there is some bacon or bacon fat added to them that made them savory and tasty. Just right. The slices of Flan were HUGE and delicious. Definitely homemade. The fresh flour and corn tortillas were nice and hot and soft with a lovely flavor. The rice was okay at best – not too exciting. The portion sizes of the meals was decent. Now, the bad news: The main dish food was bland. It tasted as if no seasonings at all were added to the food. We actually had to salt the food to taste. The flavor was weak. Be alerted that the green side sauce is very, very hot, spice wise, with the red side sauce being medium hot. We had heard that the tacos from the truck version of the restaurant were incredible. Maybe we should have stuck with their signature meal. We will most likely go back and try the tacos. I’ll keep you posted.

Let me preface this with: my experience with Mexican cuisine is limited to franchises like macs and taco bell.

Horchata was BOMB! Tacos de birria was good but definetly has room for improvement. The tres leches tasted good just not so fresh.

A review can make or break a restaurant. It’s long past the shutdown so unfortunately that’s no longer a viable excuse. I’m a very well traveled individual when it comes to restaurants of all types. Salsa bland could have added some pico or seasoning. Queso bland no flavors. Heated in microwave I’d bet a dollar. Rice for all dishes was barely lukewarm and heated up with chef mike. You have so much competition within a 20 min drive this wasn’t worth the 70$ we spent.

We came here because we are huge fans of the taco truck up the road (near Vlamis). We’ve been twice as a family and my wife has gone once (on Cinco de Mayo) with friends. We want to try the breakfast, but haven’t been for that yet. It’s been exceptional the times we’ve been, and I’ve tried menu items I’ve never heard of and really enjoyed. Whether it’s here or the truck, hit it up, and I don’t think you’ll regret it if you like Mexican food (not Tex-Mex).
