Exceptional enchiladas. I had the chicken enchiladas and my husband ordered the master burrito with chicken with a margarita. The margarita wasn’t anything special but it was good. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. We found this place when looking for somewhere to eat a late dinner while traveling. The town apparently has a limited selection on a week night at 8pm. We went to 2 other restaurants whose kitchens closed at 7pm before going here. They were friendly and the food was great. Even though we were one of the last tables there, the staff made us feel welcome even at the later hour.

I usually get takeout, but this time I went to the restaurant with friends. The restaurant is absolutely spotless and clean. Our server was cheerful and attentive. The happy hour drinks were well worth the price. The food was much better than the takeout that I’ve gotten from this restaurant. The only thing that was a drawback, again, was the food is a bit bland. If there were spices on the food, they were used sparingly. I did request side sauces which helped with the flavor. The vegetables were extremely fresh as were the shrimp in my dish. Far better experience eating in the restaurant than taking out

My husband, our friend, and I stopped in here today. We moved up here after living in South Florida. I’m Hispanic and grew up surrounded by flavorful, well-seasoned food across many Latin cultures, so I was really looking forward to trying this spot. Unfortunately, this was some of the driest and blandest Mexican food I’ve ever had, and it left me disappointed enough that I wouldn’t return.
I ordered the chicken fajitas, but the chicken was dry, paper-thin, and completely unseasoned. The onions and peppers in the skillet were still undercooked—most of them basically raw. The tortillas themselves were fine, but I had to drown the entire fajita in cheese sauce and garlic cilantro sauce just to give it some flavor.
The beans (as you can see in the video) were more like soup than beans. After sifting through, I found maybe four whole beans—the rest was watery broth with some bacon pieces—and it, too, tasted bland. The rice was passable, though it desperately needed seasoning, at the very least salt and pepper.
My husband ordered the chimichanga along with a few tacos. I tried a bite of his birria taco, and what’s normally such a rich, flavorful dish was sadly flat and flavorless here. Even the margarita, which I sampled, was overwhelmingly salty—ironically the most seasoned part of the meal.
The one bright spot was the service; our bartender was kind and fairly attentive. But unfortunately, the food just didn’t measure up. With a place like Casa Mezcal in the area offering far superior flavor and quality, I left very disappointed in Taco Master.

Great first experience dining in at Taco Master. They did an excellent job with the decor and space, very clean and lively. Service was friendly and music was nice. Chips and salsa were tasty. I enjoyed my Alambre with the charro beans. Hubby was very impressed with the Molcaiete, it is definitely a shareable size dish for meat lovers.

This is our first time eating here. Everything was really good. R got two tacos and a tamale as a sort of sampler. He really liked all of it and he’s really picky about tamales. I got veggie enchiladas and they were great. I really really liked the red sauce.

This was truly a golden find in the middle of nowhere. I came by this location due to a tree being down on a faster road. Due to the extra time I did not ask for I decided to look for a place to eat and boy was I surprised. Great job treating customers. The staff immediately informed me of the specials, didn’t have to ask. The tamales are excellent and I highly recommend both chicken and pork. If I happen through the area I will dine here. God bless
