We came here with a big group after a soccer game and it was fabulous. We were seated in the corner with the semi-private room (which was perfect for the kids). Bri and Mike were in charge of our tables and were incredible – organized checks by player numbers and kept it all straight. The food was delicious, the drinks never ran out, and the service was spectacular. They continued to check on us throughout our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. If you have a big group or just want to go somewhere that’s got great food and service – this is your spot.

We visited Taco Mac for the first time, and I was truly impressed by both the service and the quality of the food. The atmosphere was lively and energetic—though a bit loud, it matched the overall vibe of the place. We ordered the loaded chicken quesadilla, roasted slow burn wings, and a peaches and cream cronut. Each dish was served hot and bursting with unique flavors. The wings were especially memorable—fresh, crispy, and with a slow burn that left us reaching for more despite the heat! Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’d definitely return.

Omg! Our experience was great. Our food came out hot and fresh. The waiter was kn point kept checking on us and made sure we were good. We ordered the wings and fries and the brisket tacos. I couldn’t decide on what sauce between ranch or blue cheese so I ordered both. I’m so glad I did. Both were soo good. We even got our drinks to go. I was so excited. That blue cheese is hands down the best I’ve ever had. The wings were crispy and still had crisp with the sauce. We ended out meal and as we were waiting on the check. The waiter ask if I wanted dessert. I declined but he insisted I tried the butterscotch cronuts. OMG! those beautiful pillowy bites of heaven were soo good. I would cone back just for those. Please do yourself a favor and order some to go as well as to dine in. I wish I had.

I really love Taco Mac – Windward Parkway. The service is always good, and the chicken wings are great every single time. I go there often because I genuinely enjoy the food and the atmosphere. My fiancé and I had a great dinner date yesterday! We have eaten here before and still is a good close place that is open late too! (Till 1 Am) The service was good our waiter (Angel) checked in very frequently and gave us good service. We tried there eggroll, buffalo chicken dip appetizer they were sooo good wanted to order 4 more orders of it. Also I recommend there grilled new buffalo chicken sandwich very good (kinda messy) It can get a little busy but they have plenty of room and outside seating as well! Thank you, we will be back of course.

Taco Mac = pure happiness on a plate! The service is so good it’s like they read my mind—my drink was refilled before I even realized it was empty. The food? Absolutely awesome. My personal obsession is the grilled chicken sandwich—it’s so good it deserves its own fan club. The TVs are everywhere, so no matter where you sit, you’ve got front-row seats to the game (or, you know, all of them at once). Great vibes, great eats, and enough screens to make you feel like you’re in a sports command center.

We had a really great experience! We don’t love Taco Mac usually, but this is pretty much the only place in the area open after 10pm on a Sunday, so that’s how we ended up here. Upon walking in, the hostess was so nice. She was rushing around, getting tables cleaned on her own, and trying her best to seat people efficiently. Customers were coming in steadily and there was a small rush at 10:30 (when pretty much every place is officially closed.) She seemed to be totally on her own, but kept a great attitude the whole time.
Our server was fantastic as well. I can’t remember her name, but she took care of our high top, near the bar and entrance(Sunday 5/17.) My husband wanted to see the hockey game and she put it on for him, and when that game ended, she switched it to the next hockey game.
She didn’t miss a single thing we asked for (extra jalapenos, malt vinegar, water, extra limes, etc.)
Our food came to us at a perfect pace, and the fried items had such a great crunch outside and fresh, juicy texture inside. That is saying A LOT compared to other Taco Mac locations in the area.
The bar really hooked me up with extra limes for my drink, which is harder to get than you think at most bars

I had a great experience at Taco Mac in Windward. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the visit enjoyable from start to finish. The wings were delicious, and there’s a fantastic selection of beers to choose from. The place was also clean and well-maintained. Overall, it’s a solid spot for a casual meal and drinks.

Bar food so my expectations weren’t high, but I do like my food to come out hot, or at least warm… The appetizer was hot but the wings were cool to the touch, not piping hot as they should be IF they were just made. Seemed to have been already made and then just tossed in the sauce. Tater tots were good but also not as hot as they would be if just out of the fryer. Not sure if this was the cooks fault or if the server let them sit in the back, I personally think it was a combination of the two. Glad they were open past 10 as not many places around are, but I would also like my food to come out hot.

Good option if you’re looking for Tex-Mex at a reasonable price along with a solid beer selection. We tried the nachos, tacos, and quesadillas and enjoyed them. If you do drink beer, recommend signing up for the Brewniversity rewards program. Got a free keepsake Taco Mac/Terrapin pint glass for signing up and you get credits for trying different beers each visit that you can eventually redeem for rewards. Parking is very sparse in the front but there is plenty in the back of the restaurant.
