This was my first visit to TacoMac, and unfortunately it will be my last. I do want to acknowledge that Manager Justin made a genuine effort to provide attentive service and improve the experience where he could. However, the interaction with Manager Mike significantly impacted the visit due to his disrespectful and ineffective handling of an error made by a staff member. On top of the many order issues.
As for the food, aside from the wings, fries, and crispy taco, the overall quality was disappointing. Given the service issues and food quality, this experience fell well below expectations. If a zero rating were an option, that would more accurately reflect this visit.

My oven-roasted buffalo wings hit the spot! They were oh so good. The mac & cheese was surprisingly good as well. I’ve had better elsewhere, but for a place like Taco Mac, it was quite yummy. The drinks were decent. I would have given this place 5 stars if the bartender was able to make me a Strawberry French 75, but nope! I had to stick with the regular-degular drink options listed on the menu. The bartender wasn’t able to stray from that. Lastly, our server was the sweetest. I forgot her name, but she took good care of us.

My expectations for this chain were not high but they were met. It is after all, an American chain for tacos and mac and cheese. They did an AMAZING job on the tacos. They were very well seasoned and very delicious. The chips however were extremely greasy and tasted like old oil. My friend’s gouda bacon burger looked great and he said he enjoyed it a lot and it had great flavor. I forgot to take pics but the philly cheese egg rolls and nacho apps were actually really amazing and worth trying. I wouldn’t come here for anything fancy but I wouldn’t mind coming back and trying it again as a very casual friendly occasion. The service was also really great and the food didn’t take too long.

Drinks: sweet tea w/ lemon it was pretty mid
Appetizer: nachos all the way 7.7/10. Comes with chips and flour tortillas. Super flavorful and even has fresh jalapeños and pico!
Entrees: wings & fries 8/10 (honey chipotle & lemon pepper wet) wings were decently sized and fully coated in sauce. If you like sweet wings with a bit of a kick get the honey chipotle! My fries were cold when they got to the table unfortunately.
Overall experience was 6/10. The waitress was wonderful but upon entry we were told we had to wait for a booth. That was no problem but when they were available no one came it seemed like the communication was off amongst staff. They did apologize and we were sat afterward. We also were sat under a dripping air conditioner but didn’t want to make a fuss just scooted everything over. The atmosphere was great though and they did their best to have inviting and positive attitudes.

This location is very questionable. For starters when I picked up my meal yesterday, there were two other people waiting for their meals. I told the cashier my name, she picked up my food and handed it to one of the other people waiting and the person that received my food, had to hand me my food and apologize on the other girls behalf. Then I receive my food and it lacks flavor. I ordered a quesadilla and added smoked brisket which is an up charge because I’ve had it before and it was very tasty. Unfortunately, this time it was the exact opposite, For some reason, they decided not to put meat in the entire quesadilla. Only two pieces or so when there are four. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with this location and I will not be returning

My daughter loved the three different taco choices!! She’s found a new taco spot! The crinkled sweet potatoe fries were perfectly non-greasy, naturally sweet and unsalted — I thoroughly enjoyed them and the blackened chicken wrap, along with our shared fried pickles appetizer. Great food at reasonable prices.

I visited the Cumberland location of Taco Mac on Saturday around 7:00 PM with two friends after seeing Scream 7 at the nearby AMC Theater. The food and our server were great — everything came out quickly, tasted good, and we had a really pleasant dine-in experience.
Unfortunately, I accidentally left behind a collectible movie cup on our table. I realized it almost immediately and ran back to the restaurant, but by the time I spoke with the host the table had already been cleared. I asked if someone could quickly check the trash since I had just left, but I was told it had already been taken out.
I completely understand that restaurants move fast, but it was disappointing that there wasn’t any kind of lost-and-found process or extra effort to help recover an item that had been left only moments earlier — especially something that was clearly a personal and collectible item.
Overall, the food and service during the meal itself were very good, but this situation left me frustrated and disappointed. I hope the location can consider putting a simple lost-and-found system in place so that guests who return right away have a better chance of getting their belongings back.
