This place really surprised me. I wasn’t expecting a real authentic Mexican restaurant. With real authentic Mexican food. The food was made here it was fresh and really delicious. This isn’t chipotle. I had a great waiter Gregory. Everything came out fairly quickly, hot and fresh. The pictures below came out to $20 not including gratuity.

We had the best lunch at Taco Loco. Beef and chicken tacos, and nachos. The guac was so fresh and instead of being spicy, it tasted of fresh herbs. Cannot wait to go back!! Great service as well.

We’ve visited Taco Loco a dozen times and have yet to have a bad experience. It has a polished exterior and branding that makes you think chain. I would put their food against our other favorite place in town, which is a hole-in-the-wall. The staff is friendly. The food comes quickly. We mostly go with our kids, so we haven’t had margaritas yet. The guacamole is . My favorite dish is the Pastor tacos. It’s a must try if you like savory with pineapple.

Wife and I stopped in for lunch. She ordered birria chimichanga and I had birria enchiladas. Each meal was 18.99. Her meal came with one chimichanga and I had four little enchiladas. For that price at other restaurants, you get twice as much. Her’s came out so hot she had to wait a while to eat it, while only one of my enchiladas was even warm. We each had a fountain soda, so after tip, we paid $55 and we both left hungry. Our server was very nice and the place is clean with a cool atmosphere, but overpriced for the portions.

The food is fresh and amazing. This is our second time. It never disappoints. We went at a traditionally not-busy time. 3pm on a Monday. The server was attentive and very nice. The bowl I ordered would be enough for two meals or three for tapas.

The server was nice , he asked twice how was the food. Hence i gave one more star.

It might not be fair for me to review here because I am feeling a bit burned out on Mexican food. As they feature tacos, I tried one of each: beef, pork, tilapia. I was not a fan of the taco shells, I ended up eating the insides of my last taco and leaving the shell. I also had the street corn. It was okay, but I learned I prefer on the cob (elote) as the dish didn’t taste as good. Not enough cheese. The bathroom was a disaster and no paper towels. The dining area is ok and the service was pretty good.

So for our first time dining here we were so impressed with everything. So friendly. We got in and were seated quickly. We started with drinks and some very good drinks. Michilada and margarita were some of the best. Chorizo cheese dip was to die for. Everything was so fresh. The tacos were also some of the best we’ve eaten. If you like Mexican food don’t miss a chance to eat at Taco Loco!

Hubby and I stopped for lunch one day. Service was in point, the staff was very friendly and professional. We sat at the bar as they had some sports on. I am a fanatic of tequilas and was impressed by their collection of spirits they had. The margarita they made had to be my top 5 best margaritas I’ve had. The steak tacos were the best and delusions and very flavorful. If your looking for good drinks and tacos, you have to make a stop here. Will surely comeback.

$7 for two scoops of watered down canned corn is outrageous. No chips or nothing. I’m baffled as to why they would think it’s ok to charge this price for such a simple dish. The quality, taste, nor presentation warrants this price. It was mediocre at best. Never again!
