Fun taco truck with great tacos and burritos. Carne asada are very popular (and sold out when we went). The fish tacos are more fresh than fried and have fresh slaw. The burrito is good value and the Cali style has crispy french fries. There is a salsa bar with two spicy levels, pickled onions, carrots and peppers.

We have heard great things about this truck, so we finally tried it and are so glad we did! We ordered the shrimp tacos and Cali Burrito, and both were delicious. The salsas were particularly good, with the right amount of heat. I look forward to going back and trying other items on the menu!

I had pretty high hopes for this place due to all the 5 star reviews, but after eating here, I would recommend against it. The food ranges from decent to pretty mediocre depending on what you get. The fries were pretty good, the elote was alright, and the fish taco was pretty mediocre. If you’ve had good Mexican food in CA or TX, this place is not comparable at all.

The wait time was absolutely ridiculous though. We had maybe 7 people ahead of us in line, and it took ~50 min (!!) just to have our order taken, with another ~20 min waiting for the food after. I don’t mind waiting for places that are really good / popular, but I don’t understand why things were so slow here. Pretty crazy wait for a food truck, and definitely not worth it.

I can also see why this place has so many 5 star reviews. They’re just buying the reviews (you get a free drink or guac for leaving a review). Obviously they’re not forcing anyone to leave a 5 star review, but there’s certainly some social pressure to do so.

Well worth the wait! The quesadilla was excellent and fish tacos were delish. Would definitely go back

This place is not worth of 4.9 star. I believe they have high rating because they give free guac or free drink in return of good google or yelp reviews, and also require you to review at ordering time.

The food is 2 star. I got tacos of fish, asada and pork. The tortilla is dry with no oil, the fish is plain, asada is dry and hard to chew, and the pork’s flavor is far from al pastor.

Service is slow. There were only 2 people working the truck. I got there at 7:40 pm, and got my food at 8:30pm. It was not worth the wait.

I’m so full! I had a vegetarian burrito bowl. My husband had the shrimp tacos and we shared the elote. Everything was exceptional. Cooked perfectly. Seasoned magnificently! And the guacamole. I’ve run out of adjectives. Just go here. And the service was beyond friendly!

Food: 11/10
Crew: Amazing and super kind

My overall rating: I’d walk here even if there’s no parking.**

As someone who has tried and eaten a lot of Mexican cuisine in the U.S., the idea of going to a food truck was definitely a risk for me — but it was worth it!

Quesadilla: Generously filled, with amazing cheese, sauce, and flavor.

Elote (Corn in a Cup): I tried this for the first time, and you absolutely must try it too! A perfect snack with an incredible taste.

The team’s energy, hospitality, and communication were fantastic.

Watch out for the cheeky chickens, and don’t forget to share your corn with them!

** This is a special rating system I created for my contributions.

I have been back and forth to Kauai over the past 15 years. And I have driven past this food truck many times. I am so glad I finally got to try it! We got the carne asada tacos and a pork burrito bowl. My 2 year old kept asking for more of the burrito bowl and my husband had to get seconds of the tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious. This place is a must visit if you are on the Koloa/Poipu area!!

To be clear: I have no intention of reviewing some place for free food. This place will probably see me again. But not for free guac. They will see me again because it was just that good. They will never even know I wrote a review.

I wish the food truck park area was a little nicer. It would make the atmosphere a little better. Not a knock on the food trucks. More a point of just overall needing to beautify the space.

We order the burrito with pork and guacamole on the side and we shared it and still had leftovers. It was fantastic and there’s a nice little grassy area nearby to relax in her big trees and enjoy your meal. The guy taking our order was very friendly.

One of the best food trucks around. Great Mexican from someone who loves Mexican on the mainland. Can’t go wrong with the asada, pork or quesadilla (with asada and or pork). What took me by surprise was the authentic salsas they had. Dang, they were delicious and two of them had some heat! Loved it. And… Best of all.. cost effective
