I ordered 4 tacos; 2 steak and 2 chicken. Very disappointed!!! Both meats were very chunky which impacts chewing and mouth feel of the food. They were also barely seasoned. The meat wasn’t as dry as it looked, but the double tortillas added to the dryness. The mild and hot salsas were both red, tomato-based and clearly from a can/jar. Both mid. For $3 a taco they could’ve blended up some tomatillos and made a good green salsa. So, unless you want poorly executed Americanized authentic tacos go somewhere else!

It’s 93 F outside and not much cooler in here, 80+.
When I walked in all the tables were unoccupied but several were noticeably in need of cleaning. I saw a few that appeared clean and decided to give it a shot.
Ordered a couple of fish tacos and a standard soft shell beef. Took a few minutes to deep-fry the fish so I ticked into the ready beef one. Not bad.
The fish, when they arrived a few minutes later, were tasty and full. Quite good.
The music is country but at least it’s at a background level.
There are numerous hot sauces on the wall for you to try, from mild to medium levels of heat, nothing that’ll fry your taste buds, though.
But I’m leaving now because it is too hot in here now that 8 other people have entered. Sweating indoors while eating is not for me.

They have an adorable quaint coffee station near their lovely array of beverage refrigerators.
I was impressed with their customer service.
They have amole tables with seating for small or large parties. The place is the perfect size.
I came around 4:30 and it wasn’t too busy. I was able to enjoy a relatively quiet environment to relax and eat my meal.

My fiancé randomly stumbled upon this place and I am so glad he did. He bought a barria quesadilla home for dinner and we were both truly satisfied and impressed with the food. He also told me the service was good as well. 10/10

I never had a bad experience here. Went here last night with a group of 8 people and literally had our food faster than if we were to go through a drive through at some fast food place. I love love this place! They give you so much food and it’s so delicious! Finally a local place that uses fresh vegetables and food cooked to order. I see some negative reviews and honestly they must be used to Taco Bell or fast food and not used to eating fresh food. Sucks for them lol Thank you Taco Kings!

They completely forgot to put black beans in my vegetable bowl. It was essentially just a giant bowl of rice and corn. I ordered take out so didn’t know until I got home. Never coming back. The woman working the front desk and phones was nice, though.

Been wanting to come here for some time but something always came up were I couldn’t. Well I was able to and I have to say the food was fabulous. Delicious, full of flavor, juicy, warm..definitely worth the trip and price. Was greeted by Anyia (I might be a little off on the spelling) nice young woman. She promptly took my order and stated if I had any questions to go ahead and ask her and she would be happy to answer any questions I might have and offered me chips and salsa as I waited for my meal.
Currently they have dine-in and carryout to accommodate one’s schedule. Atmosphere is also great. Small restaurant but does have 5 tables where one can sit. Some tables can handle up to 7 people.
It’s an order at the counter and they will bring it our to your table. Soft drinks are bottle or cans (Coke and Pepsi products) plus coffee or water.
Several variety of sauces to try on your tacos or burritos. I picked the TK Tacos dinner (pictured) which came with my choice of two sides, which I chose rice and refried beans which came topped with cheese.. All the food was excellent and highly recommend coming here. They are the new kids in town (only opened up 7 weeks ago) so show them some love and patronize their establishment you won’t be sorry.
They are located just West of Hoover and on the South side of 12 Mile Rd in a small little place next to a Thai Food restaurant.
Please show this restaurant some love. They are really great people and awesome food. On a Saturday night hardly anybody was in the restaurant eating.

This time I had my father with me who is somewhat of a picky eater and hard to please.
We walked to counter where we were greeted by Madison. A delightful young woman with a great smile. She took our order and we went to sit down. In no time we had our chips and salsa and it wasn’t long before we had our meals.
I choose to have the 3 tacos with beef with lettuce and tomato with two sides. Pinto Beans with Mexican cheese and Spanish Rice and dad had the Chicken Burrito which came stuff with Pinto Beans, corn, cheese and chunk chicken. Both dishes were warm and we were delighted by both. The food was warm and tasty. Actually dad who cannot eat a lot finished his burrito.
Service was excellent as I expected it would be. Madison was new and knocked it out of the park as well as the manager on duty did also.
Highly recommend coming here and show them some love.
