Picked up dinner yesterday for me and my 4 year old daughter. Service is great but the food however not so much….the beans were old and dry and the rice tasted old as well . I’ll most likely be driving to the Abbott location in the future… That is if I do go back . Personally it’s not the best Mexican food it’s a bit tasteless. I’m from Los Angeles tho and Mexican food is top tier out there so I guess I can’t compare to my experience with real authentic Mexican food.

A good choice to eat in Anchorage! The atmosphere is that of a fast-casual restaurant, we dined in but many people just stopped by to get takeout. The food is good, better than fast food like Taco Bell but not completely fresh like at a full Mexican restaurant. The nachos weren’t amazing, some basic chips with semi-burned cheese on top. For entrees my family got tacos, burritos, and enchiladas. They all had the same ingredients in different shells so there wasn’t much variety, but the taste was still pretty good. The service was incredibly friendly! There actually is a lot of Taco Kings in close vicinity in Anchorage and 1 in Fairbanks, so there is plenty of options no matter where you are in the city. Would recommend if you want to grab a fast bite!

I came here for my lunch break, got my food very quickly which is very convenient for a 30 minute lunch break! Got two carne asada tacos with a side of rice and beans. Very delicious i left with a happy tummy and a smile on my face. Complements to the chef.

I ordered the $17 Shrimp Gordita which was served to me burnt. I went back to see if they could remake it, and they took it without hesitation. But returned the same Gordita, and only replaced the top portion. They handed me the second Gordita cold. Unfriendly and didn’t even apologize for the first order being served to me burnt. This was not worth $17, I do not recommend the Gordita. Blah not happy.

Overpriced. Couldn’t eat it. Gave it to a homeless person. Almost $24 couldn’t give usual $ tip taco bell and Qudoba is better food than this nonsense. First and last time eating here. Straight up nasty

I used to be obsessed with the Banuelos or whatever the heck they’re called, (you know, the chips they make in store and then sprinkle honey and cinnamon sugar all over- Amazingness!) however, my current favorite thing has finally evolved into their fried ice cream. Plus, it REALLY makes stopping by the grab food for my family even more or a pleasurable experience when they’ve got two super cute/handsome, GENTLEMEN behind the counter taking you’re order & preparing your food. Haha which they currently do have at this exact moment. Or they did for sure like thirty minutes ago but I’m sure they’re still there. Haha mhmmm. I’ll probably have to start swinging by every other day or so just to grab some ice cream & a good view really quick. Lol

Great food and fast service! Always a great meal no matter what you choose. If you dine in, it’s very loud and sound travels. You can barely hear each other speak over the employees and people coming in.
