Had to wait a little bit and the drive-thru line, but the gentleman was very courteous to let me know how long it have to wait while he was helping out another customer which I thought was great. when I left there was one item missing so I went back around and he apologized profusely and gave me a little extra of the potato ole’s to make up for it which was not necessary but nice

Food was delicious. Only that sucked was us being in a hurry and them taking their sweetest time to bring out food. We ordered 4 burritos and were given 3 and couldnt go back for our other. So much for being fast food. Ain’t to fast. The guy in front of us waited 15 mins for his 1 bg of food and 2 drinks. Also burnt food on our tortillas.

This place was trash. I’m sorry but it was. We payed around 50 dollars for some of the worst food I have eaten in my life. The only half decent thing we got was the taco salad. Other than that we had about a 30 minute wait, and even then most of it was wrong. The food was overpriced; for 50 dollars we got couple drinks, burritos, and 2 salads. The icing on the cake is when the window cashier handed us straws with dead flies on them. If you are hungry and driving through Lamar, trust me, the extra miles are worth the wait.

I feel sorry for the employees at that store. They look like they are constantly struggling because they don’t know what they’re doing. It is unclean inside, and if you’re standing at the register, you can see how dirty the food area is. Dont get me started on the men’s bathroom, gross! The food was questionable because of the cleanliness that was observed while there. Maybe if the night employees weren’t outside smoking cigarettes by the drive up menu or hanging out in their cars in front of the store, the restaurant might be a bit cleaner. When you go to a place where they serve food, you don’t really want to see employees smoking and running inside to make your food. Makes you wonder if they’re washing their hands. At the entrance, the ground is littered with cigarette butts. The floor is so sticky that our shoes stuck to the floor. Maybe they should mop once in a while. All in all, the experience was not pleasant, and we will not be coming back. I remember when Taco John’s was good here. Now it’s just a local embarrassment. I definitely don’t recommend this place.

This is the first time I’ve eaten at a Taco John’s, and I saw the person preparing the food make an item differently than I had requested, but she noticed her mistake and remade the food. Then she gave me the food made in error as compensation for the wait. It was a good experience!

The food was ok, but the manager seems to always be too busy cuddled up with an employee. The two workers that were actually doing their job seemed to be overwhelmed but we’re doing their best. I’ve heard the management has went down hill and she acts childish to her crew. Very sad
