Really impressed with this Taco Johns! Feels like it may have had a remodel. Visiting from out of town but it felt much newer and cleaner than other ones. The booths were exceptionally comfy. Food and service was great. Come for the potato oles and they do not disappoint. Always a good choice for a quick and easy meal!

The amount of times a certain employee is mentioned and the woman still works there. YIKES!
I can see why they barely ever have customers.
I’m in this area frequently for other stores and restaurants and today my favorite restaurant is closed so I came to give this a try.
I came in, pressed the bell several times, waited a few minutes until they had finished their conversation, while I had to use the restroom. Then when the manager comes out and the manager tells me no, I have to order first before using the restroom.. Why else would I be inside, I didn’t only come in to use the restroom.
Their manners are way off here.
Anyways I left to Starbucks where everyone is welcomed and got my breakfast there, plus used the restroom first.
I didn’t even try the food here but I wouldn’t want to if the restaurant is never busy, and they lack in manners or a welcoming atmosphere. No thanks.

It’s Taco Tuesday and we’d never tried this place before. So we decide to try it, we stopped and got three 6 packs of tacos (12 hard and 6 soft, $52) to take home for everyone to eat a late lunch. The kid that took our order was not rude but he wasn’t particularly friendly either and spoke so softly w couldn’t hear him and with an accent. I should have known at that point I should have went in. We’ve waited about 5 minutes got our meals and left. We should have checked out order before we left but we didn’t so of course upon getting home and separating the food we were shorted 3 hard tacos. I called to let them know and he said that I was was wrong despite having the food count right in front of me. I told him I was looking right at the food and could send him a picture. He said no and he wasn’t going to do anything about it so what did I want to do. I told him that wasn’t exactly good costumer service and I would like to speak to the manager. He said I’d have to call back and “talk to her because she works Thursday morning”. Click. End of line. For those that don’t get that reference he hung up on me. No goodbye. Simply hung up. Ok. Now despite the tacos being a step up from Taco Bell and the Tots being quite delicious (with whatever salt flavoring the put on them) I don’t think I’ll do that. I’ll simply cut my losses and never go back. Good job kid you can’t count, you are rude and you lost your company a customer. Keep up that great attitude and work ethic and customer service. Yes that’s sarcasm.

But being serious, I Got so sick off their scrambler burrito. Tasted like it was found behind the grill as the tortilla was harder than a taco shell and the egg tasted like describing the “consistency of egg” to ChatGPT while uploading a pick of a sponge that’s been sitting in a sink for 2 years.
Staff was awful, zero accountability and did not want to make it better, wouldn’t even give me a refund.
I rarely come up to Denver and I won’t be coming back here again. Probably a reason there are so many few of these left in the state.
Worst customer service ever. Good riddance.. I’ll just stick to the main food groups in the food pyramid taco bell and chipotle. This one has def ruined my appetite for good

Ive been impressed by costs and food. There is a meal mom likes and its costed less. I spent 80 bucks to feed 7 of us. I love Taco John’s since I was a kid just happy to have one close still

While I used to go here all the time there was one experience we had recently which rubbed us the wrong way.
We’ve been paying customers for years.
On our way out, I had accidentally spilled a drink and notified a worker and was apologetic.
My toddler needed to go the bathroom but the worker wouldn’t allow us to use the restroom. She said she didn’t want use to track the soda… However, without a doubt, it was possible for us to avoid tracking the soda while being able to access the restroom.
We’ll not be going back to this Taco John’s.
Also, another worker, Joel, incredibly nice and professional.

Sandra has the grossest attitude we’ve ever encountered. My husband stops here often and normally has nothing but positive encounters with the employees, they usually give a free water whenever we’ve asked and for whatever reason Sandra felt the need to raise her voice at a grown man over a water cup, like he was some child. Not only can she barely speak English but clearly lacks professionalism and the ability to communicate like a decent human being.

The supervisor was really awkward and rude.
Then he tells me he was prepared to argue about it? Smh, my food was trashed thrown in bag. I ordered my baby a kids meal it was dumped out in his bag. Wow. Horrible customer service!!! Idk how he has a job. Get rid of that rude guy!!!

This is a nice modern Taco John’s location. Clean! The kings of mexican fast food. Been eating at Tacos Johns since I was a little kid (Im pushing 60 now) in Montrose.
