We had an awesome experience in TJ! Food was hot and fresh and it was brought to the table. It seems like a weird location but I guess if you are in the market for a taco, DQ Blizzard, and some horse feed all in one spot you’d be hitting the jackpot. Also, on a side note the booth seats were super squishy and comfortable, like sitting on a cloud.

I like TJ’s but this one is always disappointing whenever I decide to try again — because I am passing through and it’s right there. Last night 11/30/25 ~7PM there was something unidentifiable in my burrito and I tossed it the trash at the next stop. As always, I said “no onions” but this time I got just refried beans and ??? Dang sure wasn’t regular tj sauce. Hoping it was accidental green sauce.
1 bean (only) burrito, one small oles (AKA Salt in Neb City) and a scant black bean, rice, lettuce and pico burrito cost >$14 The very modest burrito was over 7 bucks. I despise wasting food but half went in the trash because the burrito looked felonious inside and the taters were so salty we couldn’t eat them and didn’t want to give more than 2 to the dogs.

Recently had a bad experience at taco John’s, and I’m happy to report that my most recent experience was great. The tacos I ordered were very good and tasty. I’ll definitely be back.

I wasn’t originally going to eat here, but after I found out Dairy Queen didn’t serve food, I decided to stop by. It took a little while for them to actually take our order, but it didn’t take that long for our food to come out. The lady that took our order did have a face mask, which I appreciated. The food was good, I ordered two fish tacos (5/5), two soft shell tacos with cheese and meat (5/5), potato ole’s (5/5), and two beef taco salads (4/5). Of course I didn’t eat it all, I had my family with me, so I got their input. I personally got the beef taco salad and it was okay, wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t bad. There was a lot of lettuce compared to how much beef there was. The tomatoes were good and so was the sour cream. Everything was pretty good.

I’ve been here multiple times and never had a bad experience. I recently had to call the store regarding an online order I placed and was so pleased with the kindness and service I received that I had to write a review. My only possible complaint is the seating options in the dine-in area could be a little more diverse.

We are new to the area. Stopped here for yummy tacos, only they weren’t. Only the tots were hot. Bean and cheese burritos, totally cold. I stand by my one star because the Pepsi was good. We won’t be back.

We were at Taco John’s, NE on June 17th in the afternoon. Got two orders of Taco salad to go. I didn’t take the name of a man who served me, but it was such a pleasant experience. The taco salad was excellent and the service was fantastic. I would very much recommend this place. Thank you!
