The ingredients that were in the burrito tasted very authentic, tasted like real beans, real rice. It was pretty good although there wasn’t very much flavor in the burrito. The flavor was over compensated in the potato ole’s because those things were crazy salty.
I mean it was unbearably salty and the only reason I didn’t take it back was because I waited in line so long because of the lunch rush. I didn’t want to go back and wait again. Those potatoes were too salty for a human consumption. 3 stars for the burrito 0 stars for those super salty greasy things.

This specific location always kills it! The potato oles are always crispy and seasoned to perfection. They always get my order right, the nacho cheese is always in the bag. They ask if I want hot sauce at the window and it’s also always in the bag. I actually prefer Taco John’s over Taco Bell. Taco Bell doesn’t season their beef nearly as well as Taco John’s. The nacho fries don’t even come close to the potato oles, the nacho cheese cup that Taco Bell gives you is laughable, and they Taco Bell tries to hype them up by taking the fries away and bringing them back. If something is good enough, you shouldn’t need to try to hype it up by playing games, so thank you to taco John’s for being a legendary Tex mex fast food restaurant.

Terrible and disgusting I go to take a bite out of my meat and potato burrito and I have a hair tethered from my mouth to my burrito and is still in bedded in my burrito. So I go to take it back after spitting out that bite of food and one manager takes my burrito and the hair that I pulled out in front of them says he needs to go report that and the other manager just hands me a new burrito and send me on my way no refund no nothing. Just here’s a burrito after we gave you a burrito with a disgusting hair in it and probably killed your appetite. Way to be professional

Hadn’t been to a Taco John’s in years and was very impressed with the fresh salsa and pico deigio bar. Very nice place.

Food was great. Drive through was a disaster. Kids running the place without a clue. One vehicle ahead of me at 5:30 PM and they only got a small single bag order yet took 15 minutes. Once I got to the window for my order it took 9 more minutes. They were polite and apologized for the wait. Only a couple cars there. You have to have at least someone in charge to run the ship. This location is normally a great Taco Johns… but 5:30 on a fairly nice Saturday dinner time? Best get some help in there.

If I could give Zero Stars I would.
Every time we go the Order is never correct.
Today went through drive ordered Burrito Combo and a Single Taco Bravo. Paid $15+
Come to find out they tried to give me a Taco Salad Instead of the Bravo. Explained that it was not what I ordered. They then made the Bravo, I then asked for the cost difference
Refunded to me from the salad which they charged me for. I was told it was the same price. Not accurate at all
7,19 for salad 3,40 for Bravo. So I got ripped off again. Attention to detail and Management Sucks. Contacted Cooperate In Wyoming.
We will see. It’s not about the price it All The Lazy Service.

The drive thru guy was rushing us and got the order wrong but read it back correctly. When the food came the oles we’re soggy and none of our orders were what we asked for. Very disappointing. I love taco John’s and don’t go often as the closest one is over an hour away.

The employee who took our order through the drive through was clearly high at the time. Literally! After 5 minutes of waiting at the window, we had finally received our food. We ordered 2 “Six Pack and a Pound” meals and asked for 5 Nacho Cheese sauce. We never were given a receipt and later found out we weren’t given our Potato Oles but had received our Nacho Cheese Sauce? Like Seriously? Some of the tacos we were given were cold, and the hard shell taco shells were soggy. There are better locations when looking for food that’s not ran by drugged employees. Maybe consider going to the Taco Bell across the street?

When I am working in Omaha I regularly go to this location for lunch. The people who work here are always friendly, the management has worked with me whenever I’ve had issues, and the food is delightful. I will continue to frequent this location as long as they keep me from getting sauced when I’m on the clock.

On our recent trip in June, we stopped at several Taco John’s. Two had good food at very reasonable prices with fast service. That’s why we stopped again. A third one (in Minnesota) was obviously struggling (possibly due to the extreme heat wave). This was the 4th, and the only one I’m reviewing because the crew touched my heart (and fed my stomach). The first thing I noticed was that they have Daily Specials. Nice! 🙂 Then I noticed that the ladies room was out of paper and reported it to the young man taking orders. He was new (maybe first day) and immediately went to find someone to help. (We were the only ones there at the moment.) Another young man came with plenty of paper and the new one went with him to learn. We placed our order. Food was very good, and service was fast. As we ate, I noticed that members of the crew were checking supplies in the dining area, sweeping, serving other customers, teaching each other. The manager was also providing direction. These crew members were all eager to WORK, serve their customers, and to help each other learn. What a TEAM! The manager confirmed that indeed this was a new team. She’s a great manager, and she has a great team. Highly recommend this location because this team is eager to do their best!
