I went to the drive up an ordered a six pack and a pound (large sized) The lady asked me if I wanted any dipping sauce. I assumed dipping sauce was nacho cheeses or something like that. So I said no. When I got to the pickup window, the lady took my money and went to give me my change. Most places the cashier lets you see them put the coins on top of the bills. They used to give you the change first because they were counting the change into your hands. With computer cash registers all you have to do is count what the register says to give out. Anyway, my car is low and the window is high so I couldn’t see the coins were already on the bills. I took the bills and as I brought them in the coins fell off the bills. I know 80 cents wont buy much these days but I don’t drive down the highway throwing money out the windows either. Since she didn’t ask if a wanted hot sauce I assumed it was in the bag. You guessed it no hot sauce. I don’t know if that was in the dipping sauce she talked about on the other side. Was ketchup for the potato ole’s also in the dipping sauce. All in all it was a very frustrating visit. My wife had suggested Taco Bell, I wish I had granted her wish.

Typically I wouldn’t write a rather poor review on this particular location, because they’re much better than the one just 20 minutes away in Davenport, IA off Kimberly Rd. But I must say it’s sad when the customer has to not only clean the yucky and filthy toilet bowl themselves, but also to add insult to injury.. I had to go seek out toilet paper. Mind you they were not busy at this time. They serve great fresh and hot food 9/10 times at this particular location, but lacking in the care for cleanliness in the Men’s restroom. On a side note, I came in here one day when there was a corporate rep. From taco Johns speaking the the GM for this store and he had mentioned that they “look” at every review. Now how true is this statement? Well I don’t have an answer.. but if you do read this, please don’t tear into them about there food and customer service as they do a great job on that front, they’re only lacking on cleanliness. Thanks.

I went through the drive through today, a lady who had an accent attempted to take my Order, but apparently the speaker was messing up, so I was asked to pull to the window where I was met by a young men, who appeared to be Mexican. He was nice, took my order, but made me pull around to wait on my order. I live 4 ish minutes from the location, so I went home, my husband and I pulled our order from the bag, the tacos were cold, the olays were cold and so was the cheese sauce and I didn’t receive my taco sauce I asked for. I went right back to the location, pulled up, the gentleman asked me what was wrong, I told him all of my items were cold and I wanted them re made. He said what? How far away do you live? I said what, you literally just waited on me an he said I know but we had just dropped fresh beef, he remade it and I get home there is so much salt on the olays I couldn’t eat them.

The food was good. First time I’ve been to Taco Johns in years. They left our area many years ago. Will definitely go back. Food is good and prices very reasonable.

Just drive to taco bell instead. I was the only person in the drive through. She asked me multiple times what it was I was ordering even though I was reading off of the menu, I stayed parked at the window for 20 minutes for my food. The tacos were soggy, didn’t have the sauce that comes with them. and they only gave me half of my other meal. Just go eat somewhere else

What great management can’t get no one to answer the phone ever. Your sign says hiring but when I talked to the manager or employee I talked to was very rude. All around they need a whole new staff

I love taco johns. This location is now being operated by a family that clearly doesn’t understand service and taco johns. Worst taco johns ever. Don’t waste your cash. Rather eat 2 week old McDonald’s
