I had an incredibly negative experience at this location. When I tried to ask a simple question about the “Mega Taco,” the staff became extremely rude and hostile toward me. More importantly, the behavior of the employees was completely inappropriate and felt like harassment. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe due to their conduct. I will not be returning and would caution others

Went thru drive thru and they had lots of help which is amazing! Got my food hot and fresh and the burrito wasn’t cheap either! That was loaded! Nom nom good! Staff was friendly and efficient and made sure I had all of my order. BTW this wild berry lemonade make it dirty (whatever that means) is delicious!
Went back again today 10/10/25 waited in line for over 40 minutes. It was not moving! Like they took 1 order, told the next person to wait whole they collected the money, made the food and got the car at the window out, then finally took another order.

Taco bell is better. I tried a mix of different tacos and burritos. Didn’t finish any of them. The meat had an off taste. Steak and chicken. I had a very bad upset stomach.

The food is usually pretty good. However, the day I was there they were out of potatoe oles and hot sauce. I’m not sure how a Taco Johns runs out of those two items. With proper planning and ordering, that shouldn’t be an issue.

The service was wonderful. Andrew brought the food out to the table for us. He later came back to check how we were doing. He was really friendly and gave us some tips on fishing spots.
The kids enjoyed their crunch burritos. The steak in the potato ole scrambler was surprisingly good for a fast food restaurant.

I had crispy super tacos and they were great, but I don’t quite understand why they have so much trouble with potato ole’s. got them cold the first time. sent them back. he sent out more cold ones and when I left I asked for hot ones. I’m pretty sure they are all the same potatoes, just re-dipped as they were overcooked.
Staff was nice, just don’t think they get how to serve hot food.

Taco Johns in Devils Lake is the far worst one I have ever been to in my life. We got 2- 6packs and a pound. It was fine at first. My boyfriend and I got our food with somewhat of an attitude. We said thank you hoping to enjoy a great fast hot meal on our way back out of town to go home. We start eating it there. Our potato oles where cold. We hoped our tacos would be better. We left and started leaving town. I have bad cell service and when I finally got threw, the worker that answered was very rude and had attitude. He hung up on me. I tried calling back and had to leave a message. He didn’t give a name or nothing. To top it off, we ordered 6 of them with lettuce and 6 without, all of them had lettuce. Will never eat here again. A waste of money and a waste of time.

Walked in and the cashier shouted to the guys at the back “Let’s go, we got Taco Johns guys!” Then while preparing the food, we heard someone in the back singing move it move it. Great time
