Food is hot and to order. Has a good drive thru set up. The lobby is clean and spotless. I prefer the N. Cliff location. The service here is questionable. They definitely dont wanna be here except maybe the prep cook, he seemed focused and running the kitchen well. No eye contact and they definitely dont care to take your order since the food tends to sell itself. The lobby has a weird set up where the the lobby and front counter are separated by a dividing wall. I get a good view of Nick’s Gyros but joy of my car. How does that work? If you HAVE to eat I’d least say try the one on Minnesota, N. Cliff or only do a simple order using drive thru that way you won’t be as easily annoyed. For the 18 dollars I spent I could have spent 3 more and had a Japanese Ramen House noodles at Ramen Fuji (on Minnesota as well)

I did attempt to eat this nasty thing… but all I have to say how in hell do these people think they are worth $15 an hour. Disgusting and horrible attitudes. They had us pull forward to wait for food, thinking this meant everything would come out hot and fresh I guess not.. we loved taco johns, but sad to say we won’t be returning as quality at all locations has gone down hill.

We came through drive through and some burnt out teenage boy was working and couldn’t hear our order. Car off and all. Asked if it’d be easier to pull ahead and talk face to fave and he just has us repeat our order again instead. Hair in our food, portion size was tiny for a 9 dollar steak boss bowl. Didn’t give us eating utensils. Will not be returning.

This is the same Taco John’s food, and it’s great. The drive-through menu isn’t clear. When you order a meal, it says, for example, $8.99. But if you get a medium or large instead of the standard meal, the price goes up, but there’s no indication by how much until you get to the window. The employee doesn’t say the price even at the speaker, and it isn’t on the menu board. At the pick-up/pay window, the restaurant is next to a busy road, and the employee was speaking fast and low. But when I asked him what he said or for clarification about why my meal was almost $14 when the menu board said $8.99, he seemed annoyed that I was asking, and very annoyed when I asked him to repeat himself. He explained the price, and I understood why it was what it was. I think it’s high, but I wasn’t mad about it. But communication will make all the difference. It may say somewhere on the menu board what the increases are for the upsized meal; perhaps I didn’t see it. The food was exactly what I expected and the quality is good. The employee is competent, but it would improve the experience if they were more patient with the customers asking for clarification and to slow down and speak up next to a busy road.

Thank you! I placed a big breakfast burrito order this morning. The staff was amazing they had the order ready when I showed up along with getting all their other orders out. Very friendly they marked all the burritos for me made it easy to pass out. Theyade sure we had enough sauces as well. Thank you again.

First if i have Loved Taco Johns since the beginning. However, I ordered a Super potato ole w extra toppings., including extra meat. However not only was there less meat than usual, but almost no potato oles. To make it worse, i got the mexican donut bites and they were chewy w barely any cinnamon sugar and frosting on one single one. Not even enough to spread. Not happy and not sure if ill even go to this taco johns again. And i eat here 2-3 times a month. Sad to see.

This was honestly just petty. I came through the drive thru and kept hearing “I can’t hear you” in a RUDE tone. I offered to pull up to the window so they could take my order there and he just kept saying “I can’t hear you”. Okay, I understand. So I decide to pull up to the window where the worker was impatient and rude. I asked to add a drink and he rolled his eyes, sighed and started loudly tapping on the screen. I don’t understand why it’s THAT big of a deal to add a drink. He seemed to be pissed off when I paid in cash for some reason. Won’t be coming here again.

If they’re going to stay open until 2:30 and we show up at 2:00, I don’t expect it to take 30 minutes for my food to get done. I get that it’s late and you want to go home, but if you’re paid hourly you better work your hours and get me my food. This was on Saturday August 10th, whoever was working that night deserves to be talked to. Take your job seriously.

The new restaurant and staff at tea are top notch, this solves so many issues with the old one by Nick’s Gyros. Keep it up TJs.
