This was our first time eating at a Taco John’s. The place was pretty empty at 11am on a Saturday. The decor looked new but had that bland, sterile vibe, in the latest fast food fashion. Ordering was quick, the clerk nice. The food came out about 5 minutes later. Everything in the order was correct. We rated it was being generally better than Taco Bell, but not up to Del Taco. We’d stop at a location again on a road trip.

We ordered for dine in and took over 30 minutes to get our food. There was very little beef on the tacos. We had to ask 2 times how long it would be, the employee just shrugged there shoulder. This was on 2/14/2026.

I was sitting in the lobby with my husband when I heard a female voice in the back kitchen area yelling and cussing at a younger female teenage employee. The adult female had facial piercings and dyed hair, and she seemed to be yelling about something not even pertaining to the workplace, but making it very loud for everyone to hear. We then saw the teenage female appear to clock-out and go to the restroom obviously upset over the altercation, during this time we noticed that no other co-workers stepped in to try to de-escalate the situation, as I’m assuming they did not want to be next in line for this un-sightful behavior. Food quality was fine, but based on what I witnessed from this employee we will think again before returning to this establishment.

Not too long ago I went here in the AM ~20 minutes after opening and an older man was operating the drive thru. He was the sweetest and most patient person and honestly, the best customer service person I’ve had in the food service industry. He let me order a basic taco and some oles. But, the last two times (including today) I did the same thing. I came ~20 minutes and this older woman said that they don’t have any meat made until lunch time. I don’t know if this was a fluke where the other gentleman had meat or what the circumstances were but god was she rude. This woman has the absolute worst attitude and yelled at me through the speaker for wanting a meat taco. I then proceeded to say that it was posted on the menu and asked what they have on the menu that’s actually available. She said the breakfast food. It’s very vague and I asked for clarification, she wouldn’t give it. It’s sad that all the younger staff have great customer service skills, including some at opening time but this older lady has no respect for customers. If you are going to be yelling at people through an intercom and have an attitude, DO NOT WORK IN THE FOOD SERVICE. With having to get her twice and be treated like that, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location again. As I see other reviews, it looks like she’s ruined this location for others too.

Went in for a six pack and a pound,, all the girls loved it, bought two and was good to go, I myself had one taco and a few hash browns. I did order a few cheeses. I ate one taco and some hash rounds. Everyone was happy and filled up.. it all led to a great night. It started with Taco John’s, thank you again… ..

I stepped over to use the bathroom while we waited for our food! Their were 2 bathrooms available to use that were unisex! There was an employee cleaning one of the bathrooms & the other was unused. I was going to use the available bathroom & the employee stopped me and asked me to wait until he was done cleaning the bathroom he was in and I could use that one because he needed to go straight to the other bathroom & clean that one. I world have been in and out of the other bathroom before he even finished cleaning the one he was currently cleaning. I obliged & and waited, but was really taken back by his strange request. There was nothing wrong with the open bathroom. He was more worried about himself having to maybe wait a few minutes for me to finish so he could go in and clean. He preferred to unnecessarily have me WAIT to use the bathroom so he wouldn’t have to wait a minute or 2 for me. I know this comment isn’t good related, but I felt this was poor customer service.
