I ordered through the Taco John’s app and when I went to the Lake Hallie location to pick up my food I asked the person who handed me the food if it had the grilled chicken instead of the crispy chicken, reason for the question is because they got this wrong before.They said it should all be correct I opened it and it had crispy chicken, I politely went to the person that handed me the food and said, “I am sorry, this has the crispy chicken not the grilled chicken I ordered.” They apologized and went back to the person who made the burrito. Now this is why I am giving this location a 1 Star review. They went to the older lady who seems to be making all of the burritos/tacos and told her sheepishly a burrito she made was incorrect. She proceeded to tell him nope she made what the order said, he pointed to the part that said Grilled Chicken. After this she yelled at the worker who did nothing wrong, ripped the receipt out of his hand threw the receipt into the ingredient bar and was whipping food all over the place, made my burrito correctly, and continued making food for other customers while the receipt was still in the ingredients. I understand it is not all on her, she could have been flustered or overwhelmed being the only cook in back but there was barely anybody in the lobby and no one in the drive-through. Still she could have handled it alot better instead of being a jerk to her coworkers, I understand it is fast food but I believe everyone needs a little bit of professionalism no matter what their job is especially where the customers at the register can see her having a meltdown. This location must not hire accordingly so therefore I will not be a customer with her contaminating food at this location or until the owner of this franchise location hires accordingly.

We called Taco John’s before we ordered. Jessica answered promptly advised us to go ahead and order on door dash and she would ensure it was prepared correctly. It was. Thank you SO much. We greatly appreciate your customer service.

Food was fine but the place needs a update the booths seats were tearing apart and the stuffing was showing and one staff member was rude to other customers in the drive thru. Someone must have mistaken the place for taco bell or one of their menu items with taco bell and this staff member called them stupid and said this is not taco bell. They didn’t say it too the customer but said it behind their back. It wasn’t a very welcoming environment anymore when I heard that so ill be staying away from this location.

Very subpar food. Nasty burrito and wife had a quesadilla that only ate half. Ole’s even sucked. The Manager and employees were bitching about everything about their life and job. Not professional at all. Should work harder and shut up. Taco John’s used to be great….not this one. Ick

We have been purchasing taco salads at Taco John’s for years and over the past 3 months, the product, service, error in ordering are no longer acceptable. Even when I asked for salad dressing non is provided. No forks or napkins are included. The young staff is not curious and is not acceptable for the quality of the past. This is what I was served.

I tried to order food. The manager pulled the counter person off taking my order. I used the bathroom while waiting. The urinal won’t flush and the sink won’t turn off. The customers before had some sort of problem. I stood at the counter while both people in the store looked at me, didn’t say a word. Wouldn’t take my order so I left. Eat there at your own risk. Looking at the condition of the store and attitude of the workers it was too big of a risk for me

Ordered four beef soft shell tacos with sour cream at 9:30pm. No one else in the store or in the drive through. Got home, I got four chicken soft shell tacos. How hard is it to make one order, no rush, accurately!? You can’t follow simple instructions? The person making the food probably complains about how under appreciated they are, reevaluate your own performance. Horrible customer service with mediocre food for $20 for one person. I even gave her a tip. “We can send you a coupon”. Maybe if your mistake cost you money out of your check instead of the company taking it on the chin, you would attempt to do better. I don’t care if you’re a janitor or a CEO, take pride in your craft.

Will not be returning to this Taco John’s location again. The food was poorly assembled, I was charged for a drink that should have come with my meal as I ordered a combo, $20 of not wonderful food and subpar service that I have not come to expect. It’s bad when the teenagers at the other food chains treat you better than grown adults working on a Saturday morning.
