This is a great place to stop if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat. It’s a gas station with a couple of restaurants inside, one of them being Taco John’s. There’s plenty of spaces to eat, and service is pretty quick. It’s kid friendly as well.

If I wanted to microwave burritos and tacos for dinner I would have gone to Walmart and not spent $40.
I placed an online order for my disabled husband to pickup at the window. He pulled up behind the only car in line. They never had the other car move ahead, so he sat in line for 15 minutes looking at his bag of food on the counter. He requested that it be remade and they refused. By the time he drove the 3 minutes home it was seriously cold. Had to be microwaved before eating cold.
I called the rest and got a woman that said she was one of the managers. I asked her why our order sat, and then wasn’t remade. She stated again that “they don’t do that” and “if the wait was too long he should have come in”. I told her he was disabled and she said “that’s the only way they do it”. When I asked for her supervisor she said that I could talk to “Brandon”. When I asked when he would be in she said “maybe Monday, but I don’t know for sure”. Today is Thursday. Then I started to ask about Corp info and she hung up on me.
This is by far the worst customer service I’ve seen by a supposed adult.
This is our third visit to this location. The first two times food was missing, and they refused to remake or issue refunds, again because”they don’t do that”.
We waited three months after the last visit, but it only got worse.

So it’s my first time here, small menu but had the key elements. It wasn’t the best soft taco, definitely had better. The chicken bacon guac taco was good, the smoky bacon was a nice element. The steak and potato grilled burrito was spicy with a good heat to it but I’m not a fan of potatoes wrapped with anything inside a tortilla. For fast food Mexican it was ok but I had better. Wish I was close to a real Mexican restaurant today because this didn’t really hit the spot today.

This Taco Johns is inside the Cenex at Black River Falls. Clean, plenty of seating, friendly employees, and great food. I love the ordering kiosks, and the service was fast.

My Mini donuts were messed up, had a tiny bit of the cinnamon mixture on the bottom not on the donuts and were over all sloppy.
My tacos were all cold with barely any meat.
The quesadillas was mainly just chicken and really really big chuncks of them that was just difficult to eat and not to mention just too much chicken in a bite; compared to to shredded chicken..
The oles weren’t even seasoned and they forgot both the cheese sauces we asked for with the oles.. the lady was rushing us even though we were the only people.. she kept asking if that was all even though I told her no we had a good but more to order still and she still sounded annoyed I was even ordering.. I wanted to call and ask for more food but I don’t think it’d be any better than the first time.
