Stopped in for a quick taco and they had fish tacos! You can get fish tacos a number of places in Madison, but for a fast food place, they are good. Too bad they are only around a during lent. The fish is good, the sauce adds a lot and the taco is full of goodness. I just wish they were around longer.

Not being from the Midwest this was my first time at a Taco John’s. I was able to practice my Spanish with the employees but that was my choice, they speak English. The boss burrito was pretty good. Fresher than Taco Bell. Tater tots were average but there is only so much you cav do to make fast food tater tots exciting.

I’ve never been in a Taco John’s. I’m glad this was my first experience. It’s been a long time since I’ve had fast food, but I was running errands and figured why not? The staff are incredibly friendly, fast, and helped me with my order. They should teach other places what customer service looks like. Thank you for brightening my day!

First time trying taco John’s. Ive always have been a fan of taco bells since the late 70’s. and really never tried any competing fast food taco places.
The first thing noticed was that this place brought more spice to the party. Besides that, they are very comparable in cost, variety and overall style.
I guess if I had to choose between the two, Id lean more towards taco John’s due to spice.

This is the only Taco John’s in Madison. Someone there really likes salt.. did José Óle’s (spelling-?) are soooo salty! My hubby likes salty food – even he said it’s “OVER powering’ . Employees were very friendly and service was very fast! Place was clean , almost vacant. A little loud. Prices are a lot higher than Taco Bell – almost double.(I obviously prefer Taco Bell .)- this was mainly for my hubby who really likes their softshell tacos.

This is the worst Taco John’s I’ve been to. It use to good but not anymore. Meat in the food was cold. We didn’t get our whole order. Had to wait even longer for that and it was even at the drive through.

I ordered a combo meal, three tacos no tomatoes. LG. The drink was supposed to be an Arnold Palmer. It was awful, tasted like the mix was off. The guy at the window did not speak clearly so his name was difficult to understand. I also think Engkish was his sevond language. For the cost of the food, I expected a nice meal. When I unfolded the tacos out of the foil there was more salad than chicken. No cheese on the tacos. See the pictures below. It was a terrible look and likely not their best work. Extremely disappointed for $14.00+ meal.

My husband and I got the Crispy Chicken Meat and Potato Burrito with potato oles. My husband loved both however I didnt care for the potato oles. Some of the potatoes are super seasoned while others have nothing so its hit or miss.
