Appears Taco John’s is going out the same way Chipotle did. By charging ridiculous prices for baby sized portions. This is their “new” spicy chicken burrito they charge $3.79 for 1, $6 for 2. We won’t get into the person taking my order and getting that part wrong, repeatedly and giving me a different order.. Here is a picture of what’s inside the $3.79 spicy chicken and rice burrito. LITERALLY NOT EVE A QUARTER CUP OF FOOD!!! And of that quarter cup, 90% is rice! Probably the second cheapest food filler in the world!! I’m kicking myself for not goung Tasy Tacos instead. 0/10 will return to taco johns. I also ordered the super potato oles, let me tell you….the ones taste like they’ve been sitting in the warmer for hours. Very stale, very soggy.

Ordered 5 burritos, 2 different kinds, all of which were marked incorrectly. Had to peel open each one and guess which was which. Food was very tasty, but the experience to cost ratio will keep me from returning.

Eh. I liked the fiesta chicken quesadilla. Delish, but, I did throw it in my broiler for a smidge to get the outside more crisp*. My friend ordered a burrito and I don’t think whoever made it knows how to roll burritos. The insides were outside of the tortilla, and the insides were pretty skimpy. Just, eh.

I ordered online tonight and was told to pull around to the front since my order wasn’t ready when I arrived ten minutes later. She said they’d bring it to me when it was ready. I watched all the other cars in the drive thru get served their orders and leave while I continued to wait. Twenty minutes later I went in to find my food sitting on the counter. They gave me my food when I explained who I was and how long I’d been waiting. No apology, no offer to make me hot food, just nothing. The food is overpriced so they should seriously offer better service to make up for it. Service is always slow, but the food is usually decent which is why I give it the second star.

Got chicken tacos. I have never had dried out, chewy, inedible chicken from Taco Johns before today…this was disgusting! I literally couldn’t even chew up some of the chicken. It was runny and messy and spilled onto my clothes. I have never had food be this disgusting from Taco John’s! The woman that took my order was less than helpful and very unfriendly. She seemed annoyed I asked any questions and got my order wrong saying beef tacos. When I corrected it she said that’s what she had said. I only ate about 1/3 of one of the tacos and couldn’t eat anymore. What a waste of money! I won’t be back to this place!
